Easy to cut to size and attach to the window. The material does develop pin prick holes so it is best used in conjunction with curtains or a blind. The velcro makes it easy to attach and detach. I've been using it for a year.

I bought this as my little ones room was too light this summer time. Was easy to cut to fit I have attached onto the window frame with the hook and loop tape sp that they can be taken down during the day.They work perfectly and feel very good quality.

We ordered these as they are velco and easier to put up and take down. Due to heating costs soaring and companies are makeing at least 3 Billion profit extra this year. We did not have the heating on most nights as we found leaving the black out blind errected it was so much warmer in the bedroom. Highly recommend if trying to keep your energy bills down.

I bought this first in the summer to stop the rooms getting so hot when the sun comes up. Worked perfectly, although I fitted it in 3 panels which took some time.I then bought some more for a different window to try to keep the heat in when the weather got cold. If you put the Velcro tabs on both sides then you can turn the silver side round depending on the time of year (I have found in the winter though you do need to remove the panels regularly to clean behind as there can be some condensation).
