Peripera Ink Airy Velvet Lip Tint, Liquid Lip (0.14 fl oz, 025 ZAZZY PEACH)

This is a really nice lip gloss that gives you color as well. It was not too thick and is easy to apply. The applicator is soft but holds a lot, and it leaves your lips soft and moisturized. It is not sticky and tacky like many lip glosses. It was fairly priced and I still have it and I purchased it in 2023!

The texture of this lip stain is so pleasant, and a little goes a super long way. I think it’s a lot more pigmented than I was expecting, which is good because it makes it go farther and last longer, but bad because I have a soft/cool/neutral complexion and this is much more of a bright pink than I was expecting. It’s also a lot more opaque than I expected.I usually dab a little on my finger and blend it in to my cheeks as a blush (weirdly it is perfect for that) and then just kind of dab whatever is leftover onto my lips and that’s still a lot of color. I will probably order from this brand again because it’s really nice, but I’m going to be looking more at the beigey tones

I love this color and the velvet finish is very soft. It's easy to apply and a little bit goes a very long way, so I use it as blush as well. However, I found it to be a bit drying so I'll put lip balm on top of it. It's stain resistant and doesn't leave a residue on cups but I wish it would last a longer. It rubs off if you rub it a few times with a wet napkin.

Update:Returning mine... after using it a couple times I realized it's drying out my lips (even though the product itself is the silkiest lip stuff I've ever had). Also I'm constantly having to reapply it, as it wears off in blotchy patches (even though I'm not doing anything (no eating, drinking, smoking... nothing!). I was expecting more of a lip stain that lasts, but this is no better than normal lipstick or gloss. I even exfoliated and moisturized my lips before use and in 2 days they're all dried out from this (so, no, it does not have moisturizing properties). I think there's better products out there for around the same price, tbh.Original Review:I don't see this being a long-lasting wear. My lips were a little dry so you can see it shows any dryness, so you'll have to exfoliate before using.The product itself was very silky and went on like a liquid lipstick would. It has a perfumed scent so it doesn't smell bad. It has a slight bad taste, but I've tasted far worse. I experienced no tingling or burning. I don't really see this product offering "moisturizing" benefits; but it's too soon to say if it's drying.I actually thought the color was going to be a little lighter, so this color seems a bit "bright" (like a hot pink) for what I was expecting... but, still it's not too dark; so I'll be able to use it. With my ash blonde hair and makeup, it should still go well. In my photos I have no makeup on.To me this is more like a lipstick than a tint, but it does provide a slight tint. I think you'll get better results if you put it on (lightly, not heavy) and don't blot like I did, so it has more time to penetrate the skin and stain your lips.

It actually stays in place well. This is the first lip stain product that is had luck with.

The smell and taste are hard to describe but I cannot tolerate it. Also, the color pink has too much red. The matte on my lips looks cakey. I am returning even though it’s less than $10.00!

Oh my! I've spent at least $1K over the years looking for this lovely exilir, and have a huge drawer full of disappointments to prove it from the high and low labels ordered online and purchased in person at all price points. God bless the Peripera People. My lips now and forever shall belong to them!I don't have the vertical lip lines of a person in their 60's, but my lips aren't those of a baby, by any means. I'm pale, and so cool toned, lilac looks like pink, and pink looks like poached salmon on me. Finding a natural matte, just-made-love peach flushed lip with that ah! airbrushed look has been so far impossible...until I dabbed my first drop of Fluffy Peach Peripera. It's smooth, blends effortlessly, not drying or cakey. It's an oil, but has a cushiony soft feel and decidedly matte. Oh wow! They look like my own lips...after they've spent a night with Jamie Fraser. Even though he's not real, that was more likely to happen than finding this lip perfection.The taste is really a scent, floral, kind of like jasmine tea. No sweeteners. I hate when they do that. It has held up well to guzzling water from a wide mouth bottle and a dinner of fried onion rings. Never has spending ten bucks made me happier!
