The operating instructions are very clear and the adapter works very well.

I have one of these on every socket. Sadly in my case the house trips before any of these.That is usefull as I beleive its the house trip at fault not any thing plugged in.Ive used professional electristions who found nothing. This device has given at least a clue.I have an intermittent fault on a ring main, If this device (RCD) detects a fault and switches OFF it means the fault is on the appliance being protected. If your lucky, the trip switch at the meter will stay ON leaving the ring main live. If you're unlucky, the ring main will also be switched OFF at the meter by a similar device. If the fault is on the appliance being protected by the RCD it will be OFF. You will have found the fault.The pictures on the listing are not of the RCD delivered, There are no ON and OFF indicators. There is a bright LED showing when the RCD is ON if the socket is live. If the socket is dead the LED is OFF. This is adequate to know the state of the circuit.The RCD is well made and mechanism sounds good and solid when it is operated.

As a gardener I need this RCD socket adapter to keep the customers and myself safe when I cut their grass. As it was wet I wasn't able to cut the lawns last week, so yesterday was the first time. I was pleased with this new adapter, that kept me safe whilist I worked.
