Does it come with pegs and carry bag

Yes it does come with a bag and with pegs however the peg are very flimsy, I use the pegs that screw into the ground Which are a lot stronger, otherwise the umbrella is good I've used mine quite a few times and not been disappointed shame about the pegs.

is the ground sheet sewn in i.e. attached or does the shelter just sit on top of it?

I myself use this brolly when I'm pike angling and find that it's a great shelter well worth the money I will buy this item again with out hesitation.
