I really wanted to like this tablet...
I really wanted to rave about this tablet! I'm currently using an iPad 1 which has less and less apps that work on it every day, and since Android really seems to be coming along these days, I thought I try one of those out, at least until the iPad Pro comes out next year (I hope!) Looking over the selections carefully, I finally settled on the 10.1" size, most of which go for under $100. Just before I ordered I noticed this one that had 2 GB of Ram and 32 GB memory and for the price it looked like a great unit.So it arrived today and I excitedly started set up, watching the battery drain by 1% a minute. I also noticed that the screen was blurry, but I kept on hoping that it would be great anyway. It started up quickly, and apps downloaded fast as well. Good, good..The aspect ratio of the screen was a bit off-putting as much of what I want to use it for is reading comics and pdf's of old magazines, but even that didn't bother me too much. What did bother me however was the headache that was slowly building in my head, I finally realized that it was due to the screen being brighter viewing to one eye than the other. The disparity was causing the headache. At that point I gave up and decided to send it back and wait for the iPad Pro, or save for a Surface Pro 3 (one of the things I want to do with it is draw on it). I gave it three stars because I'm hoping that the screen disparity won't bother everyone, or maybe I just got a bad one. I REALLY wanted to like this tablet...

Great tablet for the price.
This is a great basic tablet. It came rooted, with Superuser installed, which was awesome. It appears to be pure Android, with almost no crapware installed. But, since it's rooted, you can uninstall what you don't want anyway. It had some music video app, and a movie editing app.It had a two GB system partition, and two sixteen GB partitions. The first sixteen GB partition is listed as an internal SD card. It looks like the 2GB partition is what the product description is referring to as 2 GB of RAM. This is rather disengenuous, since the device really only has about 700 MB of RAM. But, it's still fast and has tons of storage space.PROsInexpensive.Decent battery life, 4-5 hours of heavy use; 6 or more of light use. It's fast.Tons of space for apps and data.Mini HDMI Port, SD Card slot, two mini USB ports, and earplug jack.CONsScreen isn't the greatest, but is serviceable, and you can use an external monitor. Also, enable Smart Color in display settings for slightly better picture.Sound volume isn't very loud, much better with external speakers (HDMI).Front and rear cameras need lots of light to just be acceptable. Useless in low light.Power adapter uses round jack, not USB.So, you save about a hundred bucks by accepting adequate picture and sound, and sub-par cameras.

Getting what you pay for, work for more
:A good buy for the price, came as advertised with exception to only having 16Gb onboard not 32. Had a HECK of a time with getting it to connect to my internet .... yeah, if im not with in 30 feet of my router, I dont have internet .... connects, but no internet. From what Im reading online in various forums, its not a hardware issue, its software. Androids KitKat 4.4.2 has known conflicts with wifi connections. Theres no firmware to repair this, a this time ... Im considering one of two options, buy a wifi extender an call it good for the house ( but leaves me weak out in public ), or thinking about updating the KitKate Operating system to the newest Android platform ... 5.0 Lollipop. Which, as another user pointer out, the tablet comes with ES Explorer and Superuser, so Im faily confident that the tablet can hold custom ROMS, as those are programs specifically for ROMS and modding mobile operating system platforms lol ...... Kinda convenient if you ask me :)

Bad quality.
In just few months time, the power would stay off then come on sometimes. In right at a year or less of having it, it finally never came back on. Had to charge it very often to keep it going.

Price vs options: Can't beat it.
I really looked around for the best deal. With what this tablet offers, you can't beat it. It's fast, loads quickly, and the screen resolution is good. I would recommend this tablet over the more expensive units any day. Battery lasts a decent time due to the 4.4 operating system. I LOVE IT!!

Not as quick as I would like, yet for the price not too bad
Not as quick as I would like, yet for the price not too bad.Little disappointing that Lollipop is now installed on next model for just a few $$ more..and only a week or so after i purchased this.Tried to locate Lollipop upgrade on manufacture site..though does not look like they provide any upgrades.Screen quality is as expectedComes rootedhas two USB as well as a mini HDMI out.

Screen resolution is not very good, camera quality is very poor
Screen resolution is not very good, camera quality is very poor. After using itfor a week the volume started going up and down on its own and even worse if the volumewent crazy while turning on the tablet it would reset it. Maybe I had bad luck, but I would recomend trying toput a few more dollars down and get a better model/brand.
