Cool product
Cool product but was missing a small part and had to fix. Did not contact company or seller as I could just fix myself.

Great quality!
The media could not be loaded. Beautiful bell, great quality. The first one arrived broken because it was just shipped in a bag. The second one came shipped in a box. I am so happy with this bell.

Save yourself the hassle.
So much to write about. So I’ll begin.First, whoever engraved the ship on the front of the bell did a terrible terrible job with lining it up on straight.Second, it’s not brass it’s all painted gold. The paint is so cheap, that It chips like crazy.Thirdly, the arm that holds the bell is crooked and off to the left as shown in the pictures.Fourthly, the thread on the screw isn’t even long enough for the nut to grab onto. It came to me unscrewed because there’s no way to put the screw on.The only thing I like about this Bell is the white handle, and even that’s cheap.I’m sorry, but I’m also not sorry, what a waste of money. Save yourself The hassle.“ Made in India” Needs to do a better job with their work. I will say, though, HomeGoods does a great job with that. Their TAHARI lineup is Awesome!Anyway, there’s my word of advice.

My bell looks a LOT rougher than others!! It gives a vintage nautical vibe.
The media could not be loaded. My bell looks like something you'd find at a garage sale or flea market with uneven ship logo, chipping paint and unraveling string on the handle. I'd guess this was about 40 - 50 years old by the way it looks. Based on others' photos, they got much newer looking bells! So, realize that you could get a bright, shiny new looking bell ... or a vintage flea market/antique shop looking bell. For my purposes, I have a nautical themed office with 1950's knotty pine paneling, so having an antique rough around the edges bell isn't a big deal to me. If you have new, white shiplap walls ... this might look a bit too worn. As my video and photos show, there is a chip in the gold paint exposing the silver aluminum below. The ship logo is mis-stamped ... so the bottom is smudged and there are indentations on the sides. Sloppy. Instead of using real nautical rope on the pull, it is string wrapped cotton/wool yarn. The string shows the yarn underneath and looks cheesy. How much would real nautical rope have cost them?At $60, I'd really question the value of this bell. It doesn't even come with a mounting screw! For $30, maybe $40 ... I'd say okay. But even in those little high end design stores you find in upscale beach towns, $60 for a molded aluminum (vs. brass) bell seems steep for a buy. I will say it seems considerably larger than many of the other bells like it I've seen and having the anchor backing is a nice touch. This is loud! For aluminum, it really makes a loud clang. You could use this as a doorbell for sure, although a stiff gust of wind could blow the knocker into the side, causing a false ring. It also would serve as a nice dinner bell, shop bell or happy hour bell in a nautical bar.Overall, though it is more expensive than I'd pay for it, it's fairly nice looking. The weathering/flaws go with my decor pretty well ... but know the possibility is there that you'll get a weathered looking bell vs. a pristine one. And this did not occur during shipping as the bell is finished. If its a gift, know that there is zero gift packaging or boxing. It does look pretty cool and for a nautical decor, it is better looking than similar bells I've seen. Sub-$40 it would be a no-brainer.

This is better than I expected. Its a strong base and easy to mount. Crafted well. Mostly aluminum and some brass.
