Q: Does anything have to be added to the water

I own these and this is the only marbling pains I found that does not need anything added to the water. They worked great.

Q: I just tried a test with this and the colors just stayed in very concentrated spots. Are you supposed to water then down so they spread easier?

I used a toothpick to swirl them around in the water. Sorry that you spent your money on this inferior product. The tubes leak, the paint takes days to dry, and the colors run. If possible, get a refund and go for the good stuff.

Q: Can I use this to dip candles?

Doubtful. This is oil based and is terrible even on paper.

Q: can you miv colors with this ink? If so how would you do it?

You can mix the colors. But the colors won’t blend together. They will stay separated but with a sharp edge where they meet.
