It makes our cat feel better

Using for a Feral cat I took in to help with eye health and well being. They are very hard to break in half, have trouble with that. Kind of large for her, she doesn't eat them too well whole.

My cat loves these! He eats them like there treats!

I beat the heck out of the bag and the chunks of rock rather supplement still haven't broken into smaller bites for cats. I will take them to the workshop today with the hammer ... I'm not kidding. These may be great for dogs, but are too large for household cats (normal to big size lives here) and certainly too hard to easily break down to add with other dry food. If they're like this hard, maybe they could damage teeth? The actual supplement may be worthy of the money and helpful to cats, though at this point it seems like a waste as the one I tried for cats in it's original form no one wanted nor even licked at. I won't buy again.

This supplement has been wonderful for the kittens I foster for our local shelter. They often come to us with upper respiratory issues, so it is important to me to give them the best start toward health.

These do work, but I need to give my cat 4 every day just to meet her needs and they're EXTREMELY HARD. It hurts my hands to break them up, which I have to do or she won't eat them. I also need to beef up her breakfast with water and fortiflora or wet food, or she will eat around them.Try Optixcare. I've heard from my vet that cats tend to like them much more and they're soft. You also only need to give 2 a day rather than 4.

A good product but WAY too hard . . . NOT soft chewsI like VetriScience products very much . . I have used severalVS products over the years . . the lysine, Renal Essentials, the cardio COQ10 formula, etc.Keep making great quality products to help keep our pets healthyI recommend your products to others, as well.This is a good product itself but these chews are VERY hard . .they are NOT soft chews.I could probably break windows with them.I have to cut them up in small pieces to make them ediblefor my cat as they are so hard.These are not the first package like this . . .

These lysine bites are large and hard…however, I have 7 cats, most older that sneeze all the time and have running eyes. I’ve spent hundreds at the vets office to clear them up for years…every year. I tried this stuff and It took a few days for it to work but the fact is IT DID WORK.So, what I do is grind them into powder with a coffee bean grinder and mix about a half teaspoon in with a wet food that they really like. You can also break them into smaller pieces if your cats like the taste.My cats have cleared up. This lysine has two ingredients and I think the mixture is the key. I only wish I could find the same Vetriscience would make it in a powder form.
