Heats up fast and does the job!

Great iron
Heats fast, heats well. Excellent lighting and grip.

Works well and price was right
No frills but gets the job done. Use for soldering that needs a higher wattage than standard pencil iron. LED halo light is helpful. Large tip isn’t for precision but has high thermal transfer to item that may be sinking the heat away. Overall very happy with purchase

LED cover keeps falling off but iron works.
It works for what I use it for. The only issue is that the LED light cover keeps falling off and falling down the shaft. You have to take it up. Iron works but poor light cover design.

Good quality and great performance
Excellent product. Got my Volvo radio unit working again. The iron was quick to heat up and worked well.

good product, works well
My old one lasted 15 years. I lost the soldering tip but otherwise it still works.

Stained Glass Vital Tool
I've built stained glass panels and taught classes for over 30 years. Weller is my go-to soldering iron. It is reasonably priced, and does a decent job when attached to a temp-controller. I’ve used other brands, but for the price, Weller does just as good a job as the other more expensive brands.

Good - use with a light dimmer to not burn tips
Gets really hot so I plug it into a Leviton light dimmer and run it 70-50%
