Good product. Better quality than one had for 15 years. That hinge finally broke. Hubs put on without difficulty

It's comfortable, a little longer than the old one, which is good. Doesn't slam shut accidentally. which my condo neighbor probably appreciates. Was an easy install. If there is one problem, it sits a little lower than the old one, which means things can occasionally get a little damp.

Perfect replacement, soft closing & sturdy construction. Would definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. OK, we all have toilets seats, and the "slam" has happened to us all. For the life of me, I don't understand why all seats are not soft close. I bought 3 of these to replace the builder's seats that came on my toilets. Previously, I replaced one seat in the master with a more expensive wooden soft close. As much as I prefer the wooden seat, for the strength, especially when you sit on the top when closed, (they don't deflect when sit upon) the wooden seats will discolor in a couple years, and they will be difficult to clean. They can be painted but do I really want to get into painting a toilet seat? no. So, I went plastic this time on all the seats.I like the color and operation of this seat. The match is good with my toilet. The installation is also simple. Sitting on them when closed is actually pretty good. They are (in my opinion) just a little too lightweight but they do not deflect when you sit on it in either position. Also, the shape of the seat when sitting on it is slightly different in that it tends to guide your butt a little deeper to the bowl. It is just the slope of the seat, not a big deal but it is something I noticed. It **may** actually help facilitate doing your business, who knows? Let's just say it has a slight ergonomic feel on your bottom end.Positives:• Looks good (as toilet seats go)• Easy install• Easy to clean• Quiet, soft close• Well supported at 4 points with rubber bumpers (one of the best features)• Reasonable costNegatives:• Feels too light weight (but does not deflect when you sit on it in any position)• Ergonomic lower seat has a different feel than other seats. You may or may not like it.Overall, these work well. If they had more stoutness to them, I would give them 5 stars but it just falls short. I would prefer a slightly heavier seat and seat cover. For most people this is fine, but I weigh 185lb or so and a larger person my find there is a defection.Also, I am not sure if I really like the inward sloped contour of the bottom seat. I wanted to replace all three toilet seats in my home and the price on these along with the reviews led me to believe they were the best quality for the best price. I was able to install all three, easily. I had my husband tighten them when he came home from work, just to be safe. You can’t really use any tools since areas around toilets are super tight, but my hand easily got the plastic pieces in the holes and I was able to tighten them, no problem. These are very nice and comfortable. I was also able to use the boxes they came in for the old seats. They are absolutely worth it.

High quality and easy to install.

The seat was easy to install, all of the pieces were there, and so far it's working as advertised. Doesn't slam, doesn't wobble, and is comfortable. The bolts are green, I hope they glow.Before this one I had one that had a weird shape to the seat. It was the right size and elongated, but it was concave and cut off my circulation. Nothing like sitting down to use the pot only to stand up and be unable to walk for 5 minutes. That was the one that came with the toilet. This replacement is not that shape. It's comfortable to sit on and I can stand on both feet when I stand up. However, the lid hurts my back to lean on now. Still, I hope it sticks around.

Fits great and does not move around.
