I bought the doll for my husband, who is a Bible-believing Christian, as a fun gift last Christmas for a couple of reasons: (1) it's a cute take-off on the "Elf on a Shelf" doll; and (2) my husband loves Jewish culture/jokes/language. So it might depend on the particular person and whether they would take the doll as a light-hearted, affectionate impersonation of a Jewish man. (By the way, my husband keeps the doll on a little shelf above his desk in his office.)
