Great product
This product enhances practice immediately. Most people assume their ball is traveling at X; and so did we (regarding my daughter’s serve velocity). We were shocked to know just how off we were.Immediately her training picked up, so that serves in practice at the “actual speed” and intensity to achieve a reliable high velocity serve. The 1st match afterwards, she put the away in the last set…. By her BOOMING SERVE

Works for tennis, serving and groundstrokes
My old SpeedTrac died and, sadly, is discontinued. So, I looked at other radar guns to see if I could find something else. I once bought a different type, but it was almost useless. I could find no position that would even semi-consistently get a reading from it.I watched a youtube video where three guys tested this one and it seemed hopeful. It can also be set to ignore speeds below 25 mph which is important tome when I’m hitting groundstrokes with a ball machine.I’ve been using it for a month now and it works well. It only does readings every 15 seconds or so, so it does miss any hits more frequent than that.As for accuracy of the readings, it is in general agreement with my previous speed gun.

Super Inaccurate
I don't know what I was expecting for the price, but it was basically unusable. Went out during moderate winds and it kept spitting out random values, so when I was trying to serve it couldn't read a new value. Couldn't find a good place to get accurate results. Kept falling when on the small stand provided.

Great gadget for the price
Speed displayed will be lower due to "cosine effect" as the manual states, so you need to position the device as close to your target as possible. In tennis, I use a telescope-tripod at level with the top of the net. The vertical angle of the device also needs to be adjusted to match the angle of the incoming ball. Also, ideally adjust the xy axis angle depending if you're serving to deuce or ad-side. I saw it's now on sale for 60 bucks, so great deal. i paid 70.
