Package makes me snicker, but their products mean business
The package has a rather laughable translation on it. Said they were for disc brakes, but they aren't (seller did point this out). Also it says they have a high coefficient of static friction. (I believe brakes need kinetic friction???)Anyhow, installation took all of five minutes. Went outside to bed them in, so I rode rather quickly (25mph or so) and I (naively) grabbed a handful of brake. Rear end locked up and I damn nearly went over the bars! They aren't kidding when they claim improvement over OEM. I guess their coefficient of kinetic friction is also "good".Only minor complaint is that their spherical washer adjustment doesn't seem to do much. Upon tightening the bolts, the pads lose all toe-in, toe-out, and roll adjustment. So currently they only contact towards the part of my rim closest to the tire (furthest out). Makes me wonder what they'll be like when they have full contact patch! However this lack of adjustment doesn't mean they squeak, they're perfectly silent. If further riding and usage changes their squeakiness or effectiveness, I'll update this review. But for now, they're amazing, especially for the price.

Terrible Brake Pads, Noisy and very weak materials
I worked as a bicycle mechanic for 6 years in a large store, my advice DO NOT BUY these terrible pads. They are noisy, too small and made of cheap material despite the price being high. If your brake pads are noisy then they need to be realigned, brake pads should not be fitting 100% flush to the rim, they should be fitted at a slight angle to allow for flex as the tension increases the material stretches and applies more surface area to the rim. It didn't matter how I adjusted these pads, they where nosy and braking power very unpredictable. Stick with Shimano or Avid brands for the same price as these really disappointing pads.

No problem bolting on
Very pleased with the pads. I put them on my Cannondale Synapse AL with ProMax brakes and they bolted on no problem. I just ran a Century on a hilly course and they worked just fine. Only had one time where the brakes squealed and that was on a hard fast downhill stop, aside from that they were quite. The first few rides I did with these pads they seemed to leave a lot of black on the rims, but after initial usage that seemed to not happen again., can’t rate for long term use yet, but after around 300 miles so far I am happy and would purchase again.

Looks pricey, works good.
Added this set to my fixie with old pads. Difference was immediately noticed. Front wheel does squeak, might be I got new rims on new pads. Sort of died down, but noise still present when brake is pressed heavily, like braking going downhill. Besides that, good for me. Ordered a second pair for future pad swaps. Be careful not to over torque. 😂

Nice Brakes
Okay, I got a hold of a 1987 Bridgestone 10 speed this spring and I fixed it up to ride around. Originally I put the old style 40mm gray block brake pads on. They lasted about three months until the face sheared off of one of the shoes. I replaced them with these pads. After a couple of weeks of riding so far so good. I like the fact that they are longer and give me more braking surface on the wheels. Also they stop the bike really well. The back wheel was a little noisey but I was able to toe the pads in and it's perfectly quiet now. The pads are supposed to be replaceable but I think this is just a gimmick, I haven't seen any info on how to get any replacement pads.

Nice pads. These pads keep it cool and smooth. (No more cheap pad grind)
I purchased a fixed gear bike which was suffering from brake pads that were so low quality that they were delaminating my aluminum rim...the flecks of aluminum were getting caught in the pad and scratching the rim and making a horribly grinding gravel noise when in use.At first I was a little skeptical about this purchase having never heard of the brand. But I am very pleased with this purchase so far. My only advice would be not to over tighten the hex nut. I almost stripped one. The pads are surprisingly smooth as butter, nearly silent, and bring my fixed gear to a quick uneventful stop. I cannot speak to longevity, but they make inserting new cartridges a snap. Also know the gold is slightly bronze... at least to my eye. The pad length is approx 55mm long and fits my rim which is 10mm wide.(Note: since switching to these rims, the brake grind issue with brake aluminum depositing in the pads has completely gone away. So I believe the main problem was the rock hard inexpensive pads more so than the rims themselves.)

Takes a while to stop
I don't know if I have to break these pads in first or whatnot, but these pads aren't stopping very well for me. I just restored my old 90s era mountain bike, and have ridden about 5 miles on it, trying to test out these pads on a variety of situations (downhill, sudden stops at intersections, etc). They take a long time to stop. I have brand new wheels installed and cleaned the rims with isopropyl alcohol. I don't feel confident that these pads will stop me in time for those situations where I would need to brake hard.

So far so good
These pad holders are inexpensive. But so far they are working. Some comments have stated that they can't be adjusted. Not so. The problem I had with them is that the carbon pads that I wanted to put in them did not fit. I had to "modify" the pads to get them to slide in. Don't know if this is because the pads were too thick or these pad holders are too small. In any case, I got the pads installed and the holders mounted on the bike. The finish of the silver pads are not campy quality but for the price what do you expect? Can't comment on the pads that came with these holders. They appear fine and slide in and out no problem.

Money better spent elsewhere
I bought these pads as the reviews seemed to give the impression of decent quality and good value for money, however, I wasn't impressed. The bolts sheared when installing from tightening with an allen key, the rubber of the pads were too soft and spongy for decent stopping and they were incredibly thick. I've purchased much better pads over the years for a similar price.

Braking wise, these matched my ultegra pads, however ...
Braking wise, these matched my ultegra pads, however they did only seem to last a quarter of the time. that said, they were also nearly a quarter of the price, so by that ruling, an ideal temporary replacement.

Squeaky but do the job.
Do the job. I had very squeaky brakes when adding these. I narrowed it down to these pads after cleaning rims and trusting wheels.
