I can only speak to daily function because I did not set it up. My tech person (daughter) set it up with a click or two in about 30 seconds. Have no idea what she did, but it looked easy. It was purchased to function with an old, not smart Samsung TV given to me to use with my Roku Express. I just needed the off/on and the volume control. It has worked perfectly, and allows me access to both my Roku and my DVD player. I do need still need the Roku and DVD remotes, but I am fine with that.

Got the black remote quickly, but know that it didn’t come with batteries like most new remotes do. That being wholesome I found it to be thin feels like it’s made with cheaper quality materials. However, it was pretty easy to get it set up to work with my tv. Overall, for the cost, you get what you pay for.

This remote did exactly what it said: connected to my Samsung TV in seconds, no setup nightmare required. Buttons are responsive, layout’s intuitive, and it feels solid in the hand. It’s not backlit and doesn’t have fancy smart features, but for the price? Totally worth it.

So far, everything was working fine until the first week until the numbers started to put in double entries. For example, if you entered a 4, it would come up as 44, which made it problematic for manual entries.This problem even extended to the other functions like the menu.I am in the process of getting a replacement to see if I got a bad remote

Totally worth the money!Seems to work even faster than the last one I bought, the IR laser must have been updated. (Less signal intermission)Syncs up to almost every brand of television just by holding down the assigned button. Which doubles as something else entirely outside of the universal remote IR code setup mode.Writing was offset, and it feels even more light weight than the last one I ordered.
