Fits a C240 from 2005
This is the 3rd try at getting the right resistor. The others "fit" the 2005 C240 but didn't work correctly. One would NEVER turn off. It would have run until the battery died. The next one would turn off when the key came out but paid no attention to the controls on the dashboard. It just ran at top speed until you took the key out. This one was perfect. So be careful. They all look the same but there are subtle differences in design for each model MB. But always make sure you clean out the 4 dashboard weepholes of leaves and crud because that is what causes these to drown.

My old resistor had water damage to it. So when I tried to turn my heat or ac on it would just go in and out. And ever since I bought this one my heating work perfectly fine. The ac might be another issue. But it blows air out my cabin perfectly.

Exact Part for my 2006 S430
The A/C on my Mercedes 2006 S430 was not working and through troubleshooting found out it was the blower motor regulator. I ordered the part and it came in failrly fast. In comparing the original part to this one, they looked exactly the same. It mounted on the blower motor with no problem problem what-so-ever and worked as advertized. Now my A/C is working again with plenty of airflow. I live in Florida where I have to use the A/C everytime I get in the car and after 2+ months after I installed the part, I have not experienced any problems at all.

Fan stays on
Edit: Seller contacted me and sent a new part. The replacement works as expected. Very happy with their customer care.The fan stays running even when the car is turned off add locked. Unfortunately I only just installed this and the return window has closed.

Good seller, bad part
This part was defective. The fan stayed on full speed even with the key off.

I took a chance on a Chinese copy of the OEM part, mainly due to price. So far, it has been working as expected.
