GE WB25X10019 Microwave Halogen Lamp Bulb

I had loads of frustration trying to install these bulbs into my GE microwave to replace the burned out bulbs. I was surprised to find that my microwave required two of these bulbs and not one as I'd assumed prior to removing the back plate and taking out the burned out bulbs. The light is much brighter now and now I am wondering if one bulb was always out on the microwave from the time it was installed. At this price, it's very much cheaper than a service call and if I can install them, anyone can. Best approach I found was to wear rubber gloves (to keep skin oils from sticking to the bulbs). The grip of the rubber glove worked well and now my microwave is good as new. My microwave specified a WB36X10213 bulb and this bulb fit and is a working replacement for that bulb number.good luck!

That are bright

Easy ordering process, fast delivery of product ordered. Quality - I really wanted to give 5 stars because these bulbs are difficult to locate in the store and the seller's price on Amazon was much better than the GE site, but i just couldn't...I ordered 4 bulbs and one was defective. I noticed the connectors (stem) seemed loose when I unwrapped it and sure enough, it broke loose and fell inside the bulb, making it useless, immediately upon trying to insert it into the socket. Thankfully I only needed 2 bulbs (the others were to have extra on hand). Would still recommend based on all other factors - you will just need to realize that the cheaper price may equate to a little lower quality. Or - maybe this was merely a 'one time error' - would definitely give them another shot.

over all for the price its a good replacement but the brightness is a lot lower then the original that came with my microwave (only drawback)

What can I say-- it's a replacement bulb for the light that illuminates the cooking area of my GE under-cabinet microwave oven. The original bulb just burnt out (after about 3 years of use). This was the first time I've ever changed one of these; it involved unscrewing a plastic cover and popping out the bulb holder. Really not too hard to do, and the $6 or so amount for this bulb plus the 10 minutes to change it beats paying a repairman $80 for a service call!

First off, I could not be happier with Amazon's delivery. I ordered these two light bulbs for my micro wave on the 6th at night and today the 8th at noon delivered to my home.I ordered two of these bulbs since I had to replace them too many times and wanted an extra on hand. The packaging is perfect tiny box andtiny bubble plastic jacket so one does not have to touch the bulb since it is supposed to shorten life of the bulb. Right off the bat the two little prongs looked slightly crocked but I figure it will find its way since it did not look too bad. Well the second the prongs made contact with the porcelain """Barely""" both prongs flew off onto the stove top. I really was not surprised and was hoping the other one would work. It did and the light is working. I am not going to return the broken one it would be too much hassle.I can't count on the extra to save me time when this bulb goes out.I really think GE sucks for not carrying the replacement and it probably s because I noticed the fixture would get scorching hot.I have to wonder if one runs the risk of getting one bad item when one orders more than one. I just ordered some Dramm watering heads and liked them so well I ordered four more and one of them was damaged and I know there is no way the seller did not see what was sent as damaged. I did return it since one cost over $20.00. Maybe some sellers think it is a good way to get rid ofa damaged product easily when a person orders more than one of the same item.I will definitely get rid of the GE microwave (cost over $500.00) and replace it with small counter top type one as soon as we do some remodeling. Way too much time spent on a 1" bulb for such an expensive product.Amazon Thank you for the expedient service you provide.

When the bulb burned out on my microwave I figured replacement would be easy. I had bought the unit locally at Home Depot so I was certain they would have replacement service parts... They had no idea what I was even asking for, despite being given the microwave's model number and carrying the later version of it on their shelves. They could not even offer to order it for me. :::Sigh::: Ten seconds on Amazon and I had 2 bubs on the way with next day delivery courtesy of Prime. They are exact replacements for the bulbs in the oven and were simple to install.

The new bulbs are bright and working well. The challenge with replacement comes from GE's design of the fixture. Each of 2 bulbs must be inserted into their horizontal mounts from the rear. As noted in other reviews, I wanted to avoid direct finger contact with the bulbs, so I used a microfiber towel to handle each one. A small mirror allowed me to examine the mounts and helped guide my hand. Insertion required very little force, so once I had the correct alignment, the bulbs slipped easily into place.
