Stop looking. These are the ones you want!!
Gray pair purchased 12/2016: I purchased a gray pair for my daughter this Christmas. The description said "glossy". They arrived and one boot was a whole size bigger than the other and they were matte not glossy. I talked with customer service and they sent a new pair. I repeated over and over to make sure they are glossy. The new pair arrived and were the correct size this time but still matte NOT GLOSSY as the description says. She ended up just keeping them because returning is too much of a hassle. Please beware...gray are not glossy even though it says they are. Please see below that I purchased a pair for myself in 2015 and they were just as they said and I LOVE THEM. They are almost two years old and are still in great condition and I get tons of compliments.Red pair purchased in 2015: I have not worn these yet but I love the way they look and they DO NOT look or feel cheap. I tried on some Hunters and I actually like these better. Plus they are much cheaper than Hunters. As for the fit, I typically wear a 7 and I bought the 7's. With thin socks they fit perfect but if I want to wear a thicker sock I would probably need a 7.5. So I would say get the same size you usually wear if you want them snug and a half size up if you want some room for thicker socks. I will update this review as soon as I wear them a while. Love the red color. From the bottom of the heel to the top measures 15" and the opening is 6" across.Update. I have worn them and they are great!! Get lots of compliments.

Detailed on measurements and size
I am writing under husbands account. I bought the blue boots and I absolutely love them. I am a size 6.5-7 and I bought the 7. I am 5"4 with 13 1/2 (measured generously) calves. They fit perfectly with thicker socks. I was a little skeptical when I read the reviews about having big calves. I don't have big calves per say but they are not skinny...athletic because I do workout. We have just got huge amounts of snow and I put on my thick socks and shoveled the snow without any problem. I would suggest having thick socks in snow because they might get a little cold at first but that soon goes away. I think it might be the rubber getting cold. Anyway it is not a big deal to me. They work great and are stylish. The blue is bright but not at all too bright just a nice color that pops. Honestly, they are pretty much true to their color as advertised maybe less bright. I liked them better when they arrived. The rubber is thick and the lining inside is nice. Very well made boot. The meausrements do seem pretty accurate so I would suggest to do a measurement of your calves (I used a string and then measured it). I would recommend them and I will buy again.

Dry Feet and Happy Feet
I bought these boots for the absolute worst gardening and forest jobs on my property. So far, I have several times waded the creek in them (100% waterproof and high enough--reach my knees and I am 5'6" tall), cut a path through the bramble woods (good traction) and then rinsed the muck off theme (super easy). The price is right compared to other wellie-type boots, and these are true rubber, so they should last a lot longer than the fake rubber. In fact, when I get around to it, I will order a pair for my daughter so she can HELP me outside. . .As for size: I normally wear an 8 shoe, and normally order 8.5 boots, but in these I got the 9 and it fit perfectly with a pair of light wool socks. Comfortable, too.One note: I have very skinny calves (like, 12") and these boots fit me very well--no bagging or annoying knocking--and I was able to tuck my work pants into the top---but if you have big calves you might not like these, as the shafts are not your average wide ones. More like rubber English riding boots or something.

are comfortable, work great for rain
I bought these boots based on their advertising. I also thought eighty five bucks for a pair of boots, well, they should last. I've had these boots less than 6 months and there's already a huge tear in the side of the foot of the boot that is not repairable. Ugh. I expect this from fifteen dollar boots from Academy, but I guess I was just fooled by this one. Never again. So far, the two pair of boots I've had for YEARS that have lasted, are comfortable, work great for rain, farm, garden, etc., and still look good, are Sloggers or ExtrTuf. I'll never buy anything else. And especially NOT M&B.

Love!
Perfect! I like the look of Hunter's, but didn't want to pay so much, and really didn't want to wear the "Hunter" label. I originally order the Kamik "Olivia" which had a good look but was too tight across the instep. I usually wear a size 8, sometimes 7.5, my foot is wide at the toes and high in the instep. The MB's in a 9 fit just as I wanted- easy to get into, room enough for a thick sock, and room to tuck my jeans in(My calves are average). And cute! I bought forest green, the image on the site looks almost black, but the boots are actually what one would expect for a forest geen, not nearly as dark as the site photo. Happy!

Boot outer layer cracking
I am so disappointed that I have to write a bad review of this product. I have enjoyed the look and the fit, unfortunately, the outer layer of the boot is cracked. I can no longer confidently wear them as I did during the early part of Spring while warm weather melted the snow (flooding sidewalks) and on rainy days. The outer layer is cracking. Perhaps, I received one that was poorly made or defective. The boots do not serve their purpose if they are cracked and does not keep my feet dry.

I got these because I wanted something sturdier than the rain boots at like Target but didn't want to spend a fortune either
I got the purple boots and they were true to the color you see on the site. I got these because I wanted something sturdier than the rain boots at like Target but didn't want to spend a fortune either. These are just that. From reading other reviews I was little worried about sizing but I got a size 9 since I normally wear size 9s and they fit just fine. If you want to wear them over pants, they need to be yoga tights or skinny jeans but that's fine with me. I mainly got these for well rain days, snow days, and working out in our yard...aka snake boots. I would definitely recommend these.
