Q: Can I grind flax seed in this?

I wouldn’t I use a coffee grinder then put the flax seed in a jar in the freezer. People use these to grind their weed

I hate this grinder even for dried herbs. I've had grinders this size my whole life and I've never had a grinder so hard to turn, the threads are very imperfect.

Q: is this a fine or coarse grind ( how is it for rolling) too fine unacceptable

It depends on how you use it my friend. put two or three pieces in there do not over fill it. turn once for course grind turn more times for fine. i can get either course or fine out of it just depends on how i fill it and how much i turn it.
