BMW Original side emblem for all Z3 models tailgate badge for E65 E66 E31 E53 X5

The symbol looks fine but I guess my expectations were different. I expected some rather heavy metal object to arrive and yet the replacement part was mostly plastic. It did fit perfectly and after a month or more still is holding on well. So, maybe I'm being a bit overly critical, but 3 stars seems fair. It didn't come with the replacement grommets but I cant remember if those were in the description or not. My old ones were fine anyways so it all ended well. My trunk emblem looks all new and shiny again. So I'm happy!! Smooth transaction and the part came in good time. 4 Stars for the admin side of the deal.

This is the original BMW replacement for the Z3 SIDE emblems. It is not a decal, it is the full metal part with the enamel roundel.On the back are two locator pins that match the holes in the panel and an adhesive ring.Removal of the old emblem seemed difficult at first. In the end, an old credit card shimmied behind the emblem with a rag to protect the paint was the perfect tool.Note: Read the description carefully -- for the Z3, these are for the side emblems only -- they replace the trunk emblem on several OTHER models.

The decals on my wife's Z-3 had faded and the dealer wanted $50 just for the parts. When I took the old ones off I saw that the back had exactly the same markings as these. They were the same weight and I couldn't find any difference except these were 1/10 the price.

After 20 years my trunk emblem for my 1997 Z3 finally wore down to an unattractive disc. This was a quick, inexpensive improvement that I could do myself. It was easy and fool proof. The trunk instantly looked better upon installation. 3 minutes from removal of old emblem to installation of new!

It's a stick-on. Which means it'll come off.
