I never thought I’d buy a lazer that cost this much but it really is cool, the beam can be seen at all hours of the day or night. It also comes with 4 rechargeable batteries, so while you use two the other two are in there portable charger that comes with everything. WARNING TO THE ADULTS the beam that this lazer produces can burn through items, dark colored objects it can burn or melt no problem, light objects it’ll have more of a challenge. You can also feel its heat if pointed at your skin. I burnt my phone camera accidentally because I was taking a picture of the beam, lol. So I’d say definitely for adults use more than a child’s.

This thing is VERY powerful. It is Not a toy, it should Not be used around pets, and Only used around people with proper eye protection. Now is a good time to mention that the included eye protection is NOT adequate. My kit came with used glasses, they're scratched up and dirty, so maybe my kit has the wrong pair, but don't risk it.The beam is 100% visible in bright daylight. I plan to take it to the bluff at night and see how far it goes, I'll update this review if I can remember. It is genuinely crazy how powerful this thing is.It comes with pattern tips, but please for safety do not use them with this. Scattering the beam is not what you want to do with this thing. In fact I don't know what you would want to do with this laser. It is vastly too powerful for playing with. It will start paper and wood fires, it will blind people and animals, and is dangerous all around. But it is really cool.If you need a high powered, quality built laser, this one is hard to beat at the price. Can emit a pumpkin size beam that will totally take out anything in its path vision wise. It will hold laser beam into the sky as far as you can see. I haven't gotten a product that satisfies me to this extent yet. Can light cigarettes must be careful yes we'll start a fire in your pocket if you leave it on it is hot.

This thing is so bright and so cool.Goes super far!This is every BIG KIDS dream. Build quality is mids as best but it works better than the ebay garbage. I've dropped it, thrown it and hit people with it to protect myself.

This laser has an incredibly powerful laser diode that will blind you faster than it takes your eyelids to shut in a blink. Even if you point it at a wall and look at the "dot," (more like a blue sun in your room, ask me how I know,) that "dot" on the wall can, no sorry, WILL definitely blind you.The goggles that come with this laser do not filter the wavelength of light produced by the laser. I tested this by shooting the laser through the goggles, and at a sheet of paper, and the paper immediately caught on fire. Imagine if that paper was my retina. There are goggles that exist that will filter out certain wavelengths of light, but they have to be rated for the exact wavelengths produced by the laser, and those goggles cost several times more than this laser. If one buys cheap goggles, even with the proper light filter, the goggles may have a seam where a little light can get through, and the light bouncing around in there will blind them, bye-bye eye balls, WEE! ask me how I know this!If someone points this laser in the sky, even on a cloudy day, and especially if the light gets anywhere near an airplane, the FAA will hunt that person down (surprisingly quick actually, they must have some sky-tech or something,) and will throw a litany of felonies onto them until they shatter under the weight of paperwork. Even if they're in the woods in the middle of nowhere, THERE IS NO HIDING FROM THE SKY-DADDIES OF THE FAA, AGAIN, ASK ME HOW I KNOW THIS.Do not buy unless you are a professional garage goblin, and have life insurance. If you are like me, a kid with a dream, stay away. Not for anyone else's sake, but for your sake, and also theirs too. This could literally be considered a weapon in court. POINTING IT AT AIRPLANES CAN BE CONSIDERED A DIRECT ATTACK ON THE AIRPLANE ITSELF AND EVERYONE ON BOARD, STAY AWAY.Otherwise, pretty neat to own a cheap and powerful blue laser diode that didn't exist like 10 years ago. No more filters or plates of glass to make a less succulent blue laser color, well I guess this one is more purple, but neat nonetheless. I wish the exact spectrometry was stated anywhere here, but this must not be meant for professionals. Huh.(For real, don't buy or enjoy the prison time, a million fines, and lack of eyes.)
