Good but could be better
Does what it is supposed to do however they need to make these so that the screws to attach the handles dont come out on the surface that touches the pan. Although these are flush with the pressing surface i can see it becoming an issue over time causing scratches.....but what is more of a concern is that food/oil can get trapped up in that small cavity where the screw is. But it has worked for me. Several brands attach handles the same way.

poor design
There's a reason they don't show the bottom of this item; handle is attached by two screws that appear to be of countersink design. They're not countersunk and will scratch any surface they come in contact with. If you only use a well seasoned cast iron pan they may not cause much damage but any other pan with a coating (teflon etc...) is going to be ruined. Nice looking though.

does the job
the press worked well, as did as it was supposed to do. IT was heavy enough to flatten the bacon

Quality, Heavy Duty Press
This is a heavy duty, very good quality cast iron press. This particular one is best on the grill inside or out as it obviously doesn't fit round pans too well. It works great and I bought some for gifts too!

How Cute!
I have just got into cooking with Cast Iron and have been making Panini's like crazy. I am a collector of cow things so this item was made for me. I love it!
