I have two these as part of my gigging light array. They are unbelievably feature-rich for the price point. Grounded electrical interface, DMX XLR connections/interface PLUS beat-sensitive sound sensing make these highly adaptable. I don't even have a DMX controller and just put the setting on sound-sensing, and they did the rest. The brightness is outstanding, as is their response to beats, etc. -- again-- no DMX controller required, IMO, though there IS an SLR interface for a DMX controller if you choose.If you're just doing a small outdoor gig or intimate bar gig or karaoke and you want special touches that won't break the bank, make these a part of your arsenal. They are WELL WORTH the money.

The media could not be loaded. Very bright, especially with a smoke machine. I got two of these, the first one just wasn't enough. After being so impressed with the first one, I got a second one and grabbed a DMX cable for them. The menu is a bit of getting used to, and the manual isn't that much better. But once I got the master unit set for sound, the second unit defaulted to slave mode.

Overall, this light does good and would be perfect for small parties and such. After playing around with it and contacting the manufacturer, it was confirmed that the Sound mode does not work in the DMX mode as stated in the manual (Channel 7, 250-255). This is such a shame as that would make this unit almost perfect. Having other DMX enabled lights, this unit dance being able to move with sound when I want it to, and not when I don't want it to was the purpose of getting it. My work around for now is not putting it DMX mode, but leaving it in manual Sound mode and using a smart plug to power it off when not wanting it on. At the highest intensity, it picks up sounds if it is loud enough, especially the bass beats, but of speakers are too far or lower in volume, it may not always respond. This is actually common for these "cheap" lights. Another work around is putting a small speaker above the light fixture so it can detect the sound better.

The media could not be loaded. Although it feels like a toy in terms of materials, it does a good job. With smoke machine even better. for house atmosphere is good for this price. Do this with combination Laser lights. very satisfied

The main body is plastic but fit and finish are quality. What I really like is the DMX access to meaningful control functions. You can control 25 different light effect modes and most of all it has a sound mode that really WORKS. You can turn the gain up to a point where it hears its own internal motor noise and will not stop but back off a little bit and it will spring to life with just normal voice at 5 feet. Most other sound modes I have encountered required about 90 to 100 db of sound to mask internal noise. Kudos... The only thing I wish is had was DMX control of motion effects. As it stands, you have to write motion sequences in your control code to get the lights moving when in full DMX control... not a show stopper, as a chaser with 10 steps makes the light quite active...

I purchased this light and it didn’t quite work right. I contacted customer service and they got right back to me and assured me they would make things right. Then they did, really fast. This is the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Lights work and look great…
