easy to install
i use these for my Ortal fireplaces . the fireplace requires a vent, so i buy these take off the inner louver and spray paint them black. they look super modern and expensive . they look like custom linear slot diffusers at a fraction of the price. i have tow ortals and one valor

These are awesome, a step up from your standard ac grilles. We are a contractor and use them for a finish that gives a standard ac box a high level linear vent at a good cost.

Easy to install and very modern look

constricting and cheap
the directional baffles are extremely constricting. they are difficult to set accurately due to the fact that the blades are held with friction clips.they look nice and with that said, plan on larger vents than intended.i returned because stud width and the concern of noise from the high velocity through the constrained vent openings. I did not install to test so my apologies if this is not a valid concern.

Go with the 12” version if you can
I now only purchase the 12” version of this product. It is very difficult to find a reasonable cost plenum if you go with the 18” version. You can get a 12” boot/plenum at several home improvement stores.
