A truly great computer given the size and price
This Beelink Mini S was my first foray into the world of mini pc's. I am impressed beyond all expectations. I wanted a compact and quiet and quiet pc to connect directly to my home theater components primarily to use as a player for music files. So it is connected directly to my surround receiver via HDMI and the receiver is passing video through to a 65" 4K UHD tv. I have attached an external hard drive as well as an external optical drive along with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I have expanded the USB connectivity by connecting a 4 port hub to one of the Beelink's ports. The system performs flawlessly, hi res audio files sound great, and the PC's display looks excellent on the UHD big screen. The PC itself is dead quiet and has awesome speed, at least for the limited range of applications with which I am tasking it. This experience definitely has me thinking of transitioning my main home computer from the huge desktop tower I have now to a more powerful mini. Really stunning performance and features for such a tiny and low-priced box. Highly recommended!

Nice pick for homelab. Works great with proxmox
Just got the Beelink for my home lab, and it's fantastic! Quick delivery, sturdy build, and it plays super well with ESXi and Proxmox. Seriously impressed with the performance, especially for the price. If you're into home labs, this is a must-try

Works well for astrophotography
Use it as part of an astrophotography rig. Easy to load software and drivers. Connect to Windows 11 remote desktop client using Remmina through Linux. Can run Sequence Generator Pro and PHD2 with no problems. Plenty of storage for image files. Good wireless range for connecting remotely. Plenty of USB ports for connecting peripherals. Good setup for the money. Not a big fan of Windows 11, but what are you gonna do?

Great mini computer!
It is fast and runs all my programs. At this price, I will be able to replace it before it becomes bogged down like my other desktops and laptop. Great purchase!

Almost exactly one year since I bought this computer and it suddenly stops working.
We bought this computer a year ago. We received it actually less than a year ago, and it has stopped working. It still turns on, but it gets to the load menu where it shows the Beelink name and it won't go any farther. It shows you can hit Del to get to setup or F7 to get to the Boot Menu but NO keyboard inputs will work. The keyboard is powered when the computer is turned on and it gets a signal to the monitor but from that point forward, nothing...Wow, not even one year old and this computer doesn't work at all! Up to this point we had no issues with the computer at all. We have not been doing anything that would tax the computer to the point it would overheat or something but apparently we couldn't depend on it to last a year.I am very disappointed.

Poor Linux support
This review is about the EQ12 with N305 processor. On a 6.1.0 kernel (from Debian 12), wifi and bluetooth do not work out of the box and as of today (2023-09-28) there is no driver support at all. The device name is AX101. A patch is flying around which purportedly makes the AX201 (or so?) driver work, but I wasn't able to test it.Another problem is that some HDMI monitor have link training issues with this PC and (again) 6.1.0 / Debian. The kernel spews out multiple HDMI link training errors while the screen flashes. This happens after boot, and I think it's some missing support from the Linux side because Windows 11 or the BIOS don't have this problem. The rest seems to work ok.The NICs are Intel I225-V rev 3. There are plenty of people reporting issues with this chip, but I haven't had issues with it yet. I've only tested it at 1 Gb/s and it gets full speed there, easily pushing 110+ MB (not Mb) / s in file copies. The NVMe SSD is a cheap MAXIO MAP1202 (rev 01) unit. I haven't done any in depth testing but it works. This is not bad value, the CPU is fast and the rest mostly works, but as of right now it does not make a good desktop machine. It works fine as a headless server, but if you need it for anything else, be careful.

Runs Linux fine
Got this today and never even turned Windows on. F7 on startup and told it to boot from a USB. If you need to get into the BIOS hit the delete key. For boot options hit F7. Mine was marked on the bottom. I booted into Linux mint first and tried to install it and got an error that stopped the installation. Yet I was able to use the live USB to download an ISO for AV-Linux-MX and with mint a mouse click lets you create a bootable USB with an ISO image. I like to play a guitar and AV Linux is geared to guitar players. Install was easy with no problems. Installed my VPN and that went easy then did a bunch of upgrades. Half an hour later it was running perfect. Fast, plugged in to a 24 in screen and graphics are good. Able to watch movies with it while surfing the net.Conky is telling me its running a Celeron N5095A CPU with 4 cores and 4 threads at 2.81 Ghz. Wireless USB Keyboard and Mouse, USB speakers with good volume, and the wireless seen and hooked up to the internet easily. How this mini PC does with Windows, couldnt tell you but with a Linux operating system, its fast and so far running perfect with zero headaches.

Great performance for the size
It’s a great alternative to conventional computer with a compact size an offers the same performance. It has enough usb ports for my stuff (keyboard, mouse, speakers and external storage) I am satisfied as it works great to do what I have to do, basic works, light gaming, watching videos, research and school work!

Very pleased with purchase!
I was very skeptical and hesitant about these little pc's. I did a lot of research and some reviews were good and bad. I took a gamble on this purchase and did not regret it. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install, the whole process went like a breeze. I just wanted something to replace my old big pc, it is amazing what this little box can do. I just wanted something for emails, correspondence, surf YouTube and watch movies and videos, works like a charm. I never had a problem since I installed it 1 1/2 months ago....plus the price is amazing.

No Name Gamble, buy something with more reputation
After 6 months of use as a daily driver pc here's my review. The parts used in Beelink pc's are no name possible cheap clones. I tried serching them with no luck other than finding companies like timetek. The m.2 driver seems currupt and now the HDMI port is dying along with sound driver issues. <1star quality>Their support sends you to a sketchy megadrive site to download their drivers from hongkong. Which I guess goes around windows updates. These drivers need to be manually installed in an attempt to fix it. After this didn't work I was told "Sorry it doesn't work, good bye." (Its within the 1 year warranty).Because I fix and build computers, I know the steps they sent me would be over 80-90% of users abilities. They seemed more like a support service that tries to denie warranty or give you a run around with 48 hour replies in the hopes you go away. <1 star. Support>At $200+ dollars your better off using that as a down payment on a better system or Chromebook. Considering this is a low grade CPU only good for emails and web browsing with no name low quality internal parts from china knock offs. Its also has a odd plastic clicking sound like when plastic cools and shrinks it makes a little crack sound. But there's a reason these things are cheap. <1 star $ to value>I originally bought this to try out win 11 (at the time I didn't have a win 11 capable machine) and use less power and space for web browsing and light duty work. Since it fails in its reliability I cant use it for that as I may loose important data. Which happened after 6 months of use, thankfully nothing critical with 100s of hours, and I wasn't relying on it to store pictures of loved ones. The detailed story for those who care. After 6 months the windows 11 began to corrupt on me. I would have to fix it from time to time (I always turn off windows with the start > power off menu.) One day it refused to boot up. At the time It had been turned on 168 times with about 480 hours of use according to crystal disk.Windows repair could not fix the issue and all data was un recoverable. So I re installed windows. A few days later it caused the same problem. So I installed Linux and it worked, for a while. Eventually the HDMI sound stopped working. Then it had a corrupt update on linux.I went back to windows 10, figuring my 1st issues were with win 11. But win 10 could not find an HDMI audio output no matter what I tried. After a few weeks of little use, I swapped back to linux and found linux couldnt find sound either. So I stopped using it for the winter.I dusted it off recently and installed win 11. On a new SSD removing the no name m.2 drive. Figuring that was the problem. Still no fix. Then the HDMI port stopped working. I contacted support, 48 hours later they got back to me. At this point I'm still inside of 1 year warrenty. This is where it gets sketchy I was directed to a unknown link where drivers from Hongkong was uploaded to "megadrive" the instructions looked like a scanned paper copy but I did it. Using only the mini PC. I was caught off guard by this day in age a tech company not having their own web page for this sort of thing. Instead using a service that has pirated uploads and other oddities. Its a bit like napster or piratesbay of the early 2000's.The steps to fix it and update the drivers would be above at least 90% of the users computer ability (I fix and build computers) with unzipping folders, selecting the driver from device manager and then chosing the correct folder all of which are named something like 'AMD64atipdriver'.At some point with fiddling with all the wires the monitor started working (but not sound)The good: its small... so theres less e waste when I throw it in the garbage.

Great for the price
Great little computer, very quiet. I use it to play casual games and surfing the internet, and so far I haven’t had any problems.
