I found I prefer these old school donuts & hairpins. They are a little easier to use than the newer, supposedly easier to use snap-together ones. You can create a bit more organic looking, messier bun. The large size does get a bit ridic though. Medium’s “just right,” Goldilocks!!

Used this to secure my daughter's hair for recital. Worked just like it was supposed to and easy to use.

My grand daughter is taking ballet lessons and insists on having a bun. I don’t know how to make a bun. I had to watch YouTube to learn how. After watching about this I realize what a great product this is. It really makes a perfect bun and stays in place with the hair pins. I put a net over it the same color as her hair. I used the medium for the perfect size pan for my granddaughter. This is a grandmother’s lifesaver!

I love the different sizes. My daughters hair is long but thin so the medium one worked perfectly. The smaller one would be good for a smaller bun when her hair is half way up. These are so easy to use. You first put your hair in a ponytail. Then you put the hair from the ponytail through the whole in the bun maker and put it flush with your head. I usually tell my daughters to put their head all the way done like they’re going to touch their toes then you just fit the hair in all directions to go over the bun and when you’re finished with this you put a smaller rubber band over the bun, twist the extra hair around the bun and securely Bobby pin it. This bun maker is a life saver for the girls in dance class!

The middle one worked perfect for my daughters dance performance. And the larger one worked great in my hair.
