Plastic welder from VCTSELITY works great
Plastic welder from VCTSELITY. Works great. Used the clips to weld cracked plastics on a John Deere tractor. Welded with clips on the back side first. Then flat bladded the front to smooth it out. Looked much better and added some strength. As long as it lasts, it’s well worth it.

As easy as the Videos
I watched the videos on how to plastic weld and thought to myself, it can't be that easy. It was my first time to plastic weld and I was amazed it was as easy as the videos. I had a broken ABS plastic black/grey water pipe that needed to be repaired. It worked. The repair was easy, strong, and very functionable. Would I buy it again. Absolutely!

You’ll be finding things to fix just to use it more
This works great. The fact it doesn’t let itself burn out is great. We have a few kids that ride motor-cross. Fixed our older quads broken plastics and my bumper. I’m sure we will find more things to fix with this soon. Came with plenty of what we needed to get those jobs, plus many more, done!

Cheap, works but gets a little spicy
For the money this is a great starter kit. I used to to repair a microwave door that had a terrible design where the handle is mounted to the plastic. I redesigned it to mount the handle through the plastic to the metal door frame but it still needed to fix the door so it looked factory again.I found another broken door that was used , cut off the parts I needed and used this plastic welder and kit to merge the Frankendoor together. Came out great.Pros: Cheap, works, comes with a lot of relevant stuff.Cons: This thing can get uncomfortably hot. Not the at the tip but at the handle. Made me a little nervous keeping the button pressed too long. But for the price its hard to complain, took off a star because it I don't think it should get this hot at the handle

This thing rocks
I've been 'saving' plastic items using this sort of system for decades - but this kit provides ALL the plastics in tidy, simple rod form (and labeled for type), with a handy tote box, a very quick-heating iron - and I don't have to go scour thrift shops for cast-off wood burning pens and clip off wire fragments every time I have a batch of feed cups to fix.The gun can be laid on its side without the tip touching the table - no cradle to knock over. There's an extra smoothing tip. The staples work great and heat up fast - one handed operation. There are adequate instructions, including photos, for operation by beginners.Things to know if you've never done this before:1. Have a fan going - the fumes are not excessive, but are not good for you either.2. Think of the light as a reminder that you are heating - not something to light your work.3. Use a headlight to light your work.4. Learn to 'feather' the trigger. As soon as you see fumes, it's melted; let off the accelerator!I don't know WHY there are an extra set of catches for the kit box included - but there are, and they can be melted for solder, too, lol.I am quite pleased with this.

Does the job
This tool works really with the metal staples. It takes practice to use it well. The flat tip gets the whole tool really hot if you use it continuously. The one that is like a soldering iron works better for this.

Now can forget epoxy
The gun works great especially the high power 200 watts.I used all the types of clips and found it heats very fast and sinks in the plastic with ease. With the clip in place if you tilt the gun it might fall out so I learned to spread the ends a little but not to much because you don't want to pull out the clip if the plastic is still gooey. It's best if you can slide clip in and not spread so fast pull out if you have a lot to do.. the longer you use it the better you get..The plastic rods will take practice but someone thought of everything you'll need to do any project. The gun will get hot but not the handle so that's good and even once in a while set it down and let it cool for a little. The flat iron work great but it takes time to lean the tricks to do a great job.Broken plastic Bring it On!

Solid Overall
This is a solid plastic welder. Already used it for a few projects to fixing cracks, to fully welding back on plastic pieces. It heats up quick and you can get to work in a few minutes. Haven’t had any issues with it overheating for longer jobs.My only negatives, is that it comes with one style plastic melter and in some cases it would be nice to have different shapes to be able to do a better job. The other thing is that the back end of it does get quite hot. Also the snips and the utility knife it comes with are not great. Specially the utility knife. It pretty much doesn’t function. Also the little light on the welder is only useful for letting you know it’s on and heating.Otherwise it comes with quite of bit of accessories that should last you for some time, to do multiple jobs. Comes with a lot of black, grey, white, and clear sticks.
