Sea to Summit Ultra-Sil Nano Dry Sack, Featherlight Dry Bag

Have had this bag maybe a year. Used several times backpacking and love it.Would give it 6 stars if I could due to Sea to Summit warranty team. Last trip I noticed that one of the buckles from this bag had fallen off. When I got back I emailed support. In 3 days I had a package with a replacement buckle as well as a spare in case it ever happened again. Now that is service! Well done Sea to Summit!

Great. This is my new first aid bag. I haven't had it long, but it held up on 8 day backpacking trip. I have always had great luck with Sea to Summit dry bags. I have another one like this that I have had for 10 years and it still works great. They are the only dry bags that hold up and don't disintegrate in Hawaii (laminates and coatings melt and fall apart here). They are the only brand of dry bag I will buy since I moved to Hawaii. Note: I trim and round sharp corner edges of all things before I put them in these bags just to be careful, such as the Neosporin tube, etc. Dry bags of any brand are not totally dry when fully submerged. I use double freezer ziplocs or these thin Sea to Summit dry bags around items before putting them inside a larger dry bag. My stuff stays nice and dry this way when I'm swimming through the ocean from my anchored boat to the shoreline for instance.

Keeps my gear organized and dry with the most minimal weight penalty in the business.I have four of these now and while pricey they have been absolutely worth it for my backpacking applications. Every time I go out on a hike I have total confidence these dry sacks will keep the dust and water out of my personal equipment. It's hard to put a price on comfort and convenience and since these dry sacks provide both I have yet to balk at the price. They are also surprisingly strong given how thin and lightweight they are.

Big fan of these waterproof dry bags!! Every family member in our family has a few in different sizes (8L, 4L and bathing-suit size - 2L are our favorites). Very convenient to take to the gym or for a beach trip/vacation. Bag dries quickly even after carrying soaking wet items and never got a damp smell or a leak (if closed properly)! I like the one with the vision panel more but this one fits the purpose. I love the color options so we can all have a different one. We have purchased our first one over 4 years ago and still performs as new. I wish the clip loop would be a bit longer to be able to hang the bag but not an issue. Love them, super practical and we never go on vacation without them!

Pricey at $23/ea for the 13 liter sack. The weight of it is light at 27 grams. However it is NOT MUCH lighter than other sacks of similar construction offered at a lower cost. It is waterproof and very good construction. Seams are sealed and double stitched. If saving weight is your goal, then you could easily pack one item less to reduce the overall weight of what is being carried. I recommend buying other nylon dry sacks which are nearly as good as this one but at substantially less cost.

Our clothes stayed dry, and our wet clothes did not leak! We used this on our vacation to pack our change of clothes, and then to change our wet clothes in. I thought It was too small at 1st but you just got to compact your items in there and squeeze all the air out. We also used this to keep keys/phone so on. It was PERFECT. light weight and a life saver for keeping things organized in ur beach bag or backpack!

I bought a Feathered Friends Flicker UL 20 degrees down quilt for camping. I didn't notice that it came with its own stuff sack until I ordered this. I actually tried to cancel this order but I'm glad I was unable to because this stuff sack is much better.The material is strong, but almost rice paper thin. I have zero doubts it will keep sleeping bag dry should I ever get caught out in the rain while hiking or if I go river camping.If you count ounces, then these bags are the way to go.

Top Sack von Sea to Summit, der "Nano" ist wie auch der Ultra Sil Dry Sack für das verstauen und Komprimieren von Dingen vorgesehen die nochmal in einen Rucksack, Radtasche müssen und etwas Ordnung gehalten werden muss, damit alles in die "Übertasche", Bag rein passt. Das Spezialgebiet des Ultra Sil Nano Dry Sack ist nicht unbedingt direkt dem Wetter(Regen) sowie Dreck und Match ausgesetzt zu sein, und kommt deshalb nochmal in einen Bag (Rucksack, Radtasche,..)Passt bitte mit festen oder harten Dingen auf den die könnten den Stoff beschädigen, leichte beschädigungen des Stoffes führen irgendwan zum aufreißen. So erging es mir einmal beim einfüllen des Trekkingzeltes mit seinem Gestänge in den Ultra Sil Nano Dry Sack (Verwendung war damit auch nicht artgerecht) Den Dry Sack hatte ich als zusätzlichen Wetterschutz genutzt für die nicht dichte Tasche des Zeltes.Wenn es auf das Gewicht und damit jedes Gramm ankommt dann ist der Nano gerade der richtige Sack.

Als Paddler ist man gezwungen, jegliche Ausrüstung wasserdicht zu verpacken, insbesondere dann, wenn man mehrere Tage remote unterwegs ist und insofern auch im Lager keine Möglichkeit hat, Dinge trocken zu lagern. Insofern besitze ich inzwischen eine ganze Reihe dieser Packsäcke in verschiedenen Farben und Größen. Alle halten trotz umfangreicher Benutzung durch. Keine gebrochenen Schnallen oder Löcher. Der Preis ist aus meiner Sicht insofern gerechtfertigt.

J'utilise ce drybag pour la rando au long cours, ideal pour garder les vêtements au sec lorsque le sac est mouillé. Il se transforme en coussin le soir rempli de vêtements. Léger et fin c'est un allié pour les minimalistes de la rando.

Der kleine Stausack ist leicht. Aber er ist nicht robust. Auch wenn darin nichts Scharfkantiges verstaut ist, scheuern die Gegenstände innen am Gewebe und machen kleine Löcher hinein. Somit ist er nicht mehr dicht. Hier geht die kompromisslose Ultralight Philosophie einen krassen Nachteil ein. Ein paar Gramm mehr dürften es schon sein, dafür etwas haltbarer.
