I purchased this used like new for about 120. Everything works great on it. I have not had any glitches or malfunctions probably due to the new firmware update. Definately not as high quality as Pioneers, but don't expect that for this price. I added this as a third player to my serato sl2 setup. The platter works great for cuing, but I do not plan on scratching with it. I recommend using the gemini software to analyze tracks. With BPMs accurately set the looping functions work great and the manual looping works fine too. The main reason I purchased these over the numark mdx500 was the fact that it plays wav files.(although only at 16 bit depth) These are a steal under 200, but I would consider the numarks if buying new and you only play mp3s.

I bought 2 of these . One I bought off Amazon warehouse at a steal of a deal, and the other was brand new. I paired them up with an American audio mixer and they sound great with my jbl monitor speakers. I have this set up in my garage just for practice, because its a hassle to be setting up my professional stuff all the time. They work just fine and i would probably recommend these for someone that's just starting out. I've seen alot of mediocre to negative reviews on these 500's ,but you got to remember that their very inexpensive, and won't perform like the expensive equipment that's out there. Be sure to use quality usb flash drives. I had trouble with some cheap ones that I had laying around.

Very cheap item and not useful

This baby is just big enough to not feel like a toy or a controller, but it's small enough that it won't weigh me down bringing it out. It booted up and I was playing tracks on it immediately. The response of the slider and jog wheel is incredible. It's very user friendly and simple. I was surprised it came with RCA cables, saved me the trip to the junk bin in the closet! Tracks load in the background while it plays without interrupting play or the wave form, very impressive. I ordered two, I'm only bummed they came in separate shipments because I wanted to mix right away. Oh well, gave me enough time to get a playlist together on USBs.

I really don't like it but it gets the job done

Amazing for the price! Some people expect it to work like a $1000 cdj, it doesn't. It works amazing for the price and haven't any problems besides analyzing the bpm wrong sometimes. Functionality is great and fits my budget!

I bought 2 of these and a 3 channel Numark mixer to replace my recently deceased Numark Mixdeck Quad. Documentation points you to websites/addresses that don't exist; couldn't find a download to update the firmware, music would hiccup during playback, only works with VirtualDJ and requires midi-mapping knowledge to work with anything else, screen would glitch out while using the selector wheel. I really wanted to like these, but unfortunately, they didn't work out. Returned everything and bought a Mixdeck Express for less money.

Felt it was a bit over priced. But love it!
