What can I say? It's a plastic sickle. My daughter used it as a costume prop with no trouble.

Depends On Your Height
What do I mean? Well, the grim reaper is usually depicted holding a scythe that is taller than he is. I'm 6'1" but this scythe, fully-assembled, is maybe 5' tall, if that.It comes in 4 or 5 pieces that screw into each other so I do like that it can be disassembled and put in a box for safe keeping when not being used. If only the staff portion of the scythe had come with 1 or 2 more pieces/lengths, it might have been tall enough for me. That said, for a young (and much shorter) kid it is probably perfect as is. Makes a great Grim Reaper costume accessory.
