Meadow Lane Goods Plastic Banana Holder Fruit Stand to Prevent Brusing and Maintain Texture, 3-Pack

For what I paid, it's exactly what I wanted. The only thing I'm having a difficult time with is the assembly. I bought a pack of three. And, I'm glad I did, by the way; I have bananas all over the place! But alas, two of the three stands I purchased will not assemble to the point of having their edges flush with each other. It's very tough to get these two pieces together all the way. Is there a secret to it? Should I microwave the base for 15 seconds? Or maybe put the stem in the freezer for five minutes? There were no instructions. I didn't expect there to be any, really. Assembly is very, very straight-forward - piece A goes into piece B. But the fit is so snug, the stem won't slide all the way into the base. Don't change the design. The snugness is important! The one that I have that has slid fully into the base is stable and awesome! Big ol' bunches of bananas hang off that one, no doubt. I'm just trying to come up with ways to get the stem to slide all the way into the slot. Maybe some olive oil? K-Y?

I ordered a set of three of these banana holders: two to be used as headphone stands (my man and I each have a set of Sennheiser 598s), and one for holding actual bananas in the kitchen. These stands are sturdy and work great for both purposes. They also look awesome not only in our kitchen but in our home office as well, where we do the majority of our gaming.

These holders are great for headphones, and a lot cheaper.

I bought this to hang my Headphones and PC Headsets... works perfectly. A 3 pack costs less than a "branded headphone stand."
