SAVITA Fireplace Tape Seal 13Ft x 0.4inch x 3mm, Self-Adhesive Fiberglass Rope Seal Gasket Replacement Wood Stove Door Gasket for Fireplaces Wood Burning Stoves (Gray)

I needed a slim flat high temperature gasket to seal the mating section between the twin ( two) doors on my Kozy Heat zero clearance wood burning fireplace. I used the high temp gasket sealer and this gasket . It worked great . Your kinda on your own dealing with this stuff because the manufacturers don't seem to have a alot of the parts to deal with this kind of refurbishing work. In the end I got it all to work and this "Ribbon " gasket helped.

This was the perfect size needed to seal off our fireplace doors. Seamed to adhere fine and felt secure, both by trying to remove and through the function of the doors. However, after firing up the unit for the second time, the adhesive started coming off of the material. Stayed attached to the frame however.Can't return now and searching for another product that I think will stay in place. In my opiniom, don't waste the time or money.

This sealing tape worked well to replace a seal that has too much thickness, on a wood stove. Product arrived quickly, fit well and was reasonably priced.

Does not stick as advertised it is not for high temperatures not for a wood burning stove.

The first backing I tried to pull off pulled the adhesive off the fiberglass gasket.In the first 10 min of use at 270 degrees the first strip feel off (pic shown).I picked the width of this seal so I could double up the gasket to maximize the surface area. The smoke still poured out in multiple places.

When it heated up the glue melted and it fell off

Seems like quality but after it gets hot it falls off and is worthless. Don’t buy this. Waste of money.

Didn't even get 20 minutes out of it before it fell off.
