How much weight can the basket hold?

I have one that is filled with cans of soup and vegetables. That would be my heaviest. I have no idea how heavy that is.

Do you have storage 11" wide by 16" deep? Single and double units?

The only way to know is to look at the measurements that they provide and you would need to allow for a half inch difference in the cupboard

Can you place a trash bin in the opening?

Depending on size of trash bin, yes. But measure first. I have a large size sliding basket in my kitchen that easily holds a bulky heavier toaster oven.

I am looking for the height of basket vs height including mount. Does it clear a one inch cabinet bumper?

No. You can't pull the basket out if you have any lip at the end of your cabinet shelf. I had the same problem. In stead of sending it back I simply set the basket on my pull out shelf. I really needed the sides of the basket to keep items from falling off the shelf and I pull it out as normal.
