This thing has had half solid/half crystals in it since it showed up- nothing ever changes. I've had torrential flooding, snow, ice, and more rain in the past 2 weeks and have seen NO difference. Super disappointed because I was so much looking forward to this bringing back childhood memories of something very similar.

Bought for a Christmas present for my daughter in law. She absolutely loves it but it took quite awhile to get here. Barely made it by Christmas! So pretty it was worth the wait. Packed very well for shipping. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

It's a really cool concept and looks great for decor! However, the "crystals" in it haven't changed a bit since I bought it almost a year ago. Still, good quality and looks nice.

Yes. U Have to have it in RIGHT LOCATION for it to work.. it takes 1-2 weeks to get acclimated. if nothing happens you reset it by heating it up and melting all the crystals.....you heat it up with the hair dryer. You reset it.. but it does work.. it was developed in the 1800's! It is a real storm glass
