Horrible. Update
Couldn't place it down an inch without a bubble forming. It's transparent, tears easily, and once you stick it its about 50/50 whether or not you can pull it up to try to reposition it. Ripped my countertops up. Horrible!!Edit: I found out the problem was my countertops. My apartment complex paints the countertops themselves with the landlord special and thats why these ripped off the paint. The adhesive is still very strong, but I was able to put it on my wood desk seamlessly after practicing with a microfiber cloth first. It still is, however, somewhat transparent and you can see any previous patterns underneath. I'm putting it up to 4 stars

Looks beautiful, but it wasn't easy
Covering countertops is not for the faint of heart. I'm really good at DIY stuff, and you have to be really careful while laying it on the counters. And, of course, I wanted it to be perfect. I'm just thrilled with the way it looks and hope it holds up as well as it looks. It looks so amazing, I'm now going to have to paint the cabinets. Anyone have any idea of color?

Worst DIY I’ve attempted. Wasted $100
This product is incredible in a few contrasting ways.1. It’s incredibly sticky.2. It’s incredibly pretty.3. It’s *incredibly* difficult to use.I just spent a few hours tearing up my countertops and teaching my toddler colorful new words.I think if you are covering a small space - or cutting the material into pieces and then overlapping seams- you’d be fine.I ordered the widest size available and attempted to cover my entire countertop- including the vertical rolled backer- and it was a total disaster and waste of $100.I do think it’s a great product and would look beautiful. Unfortunately, it did not work for me.Order with caution.

Peeled right away, wrinkled and unusable
I was nervous buying this product from some of the reviews so I bought two rolls hoping one of them would work. Before starting we cleaned and prepped the counters and had all our application tools with us. We have quite a bit of experience covering things with adhesive paper. The first roll we could tell was wrinkly before we even unrolled it but my nit picky extra careful engineer husband spent several hours measuring it and working with it. The wrinkling made the product very difficult to accurately measure and there was bubbling right away that we tried trouble shooting. After we got it applied to where I felt like I could maybe tolerate looking at it, it had already started peeling up off the counter and the bubbles were appearing again. We tried the second roll which was more smooth coming off but after it was unrolled and we were measuring, it started wrinkling and bubbling up before we had even taken it off the roll! We are returning the product and are frustrated about the hours wasted.

It creases terribly!
I am very diy and have used wallpaper many times. This was the most difficult I have worked with. They say don’t crease it, but it creases when you try to unroll it to cut the right size. I also believe it does stretch when you need to lift it for a bubble. I ended up having to order another roll to finish the project because it was a mess. I would not recommend this product at all.
