Many of our customers successfully improve their iron status with our stand alone Liver product because it naturally provides cofactors (vitamin A, B12, folate, choline, zinc, copper, ceruloplasmin, etc) that support endogenous iron production, the building of blood and hemoglobin health, along with a moderate amount of heme iron. For this reason, liver should be considered as a first line supplement option to manage iron status. It's important to know that adding more dietary iron to the equation doesn't always work... if that's not the root cause of the issue.Many customers respond remarkably well when Spleen is combined with Liver. There's just something special about the combination of the two. I sincerely believe that this nourishment will give you the best chance at improving iron status and feeling better (better energy, better mood, better mental clarity).As it relates to taking our Spleen/Liver along with the Bone Marrow, our functional healthcare practitioner accounts have never reported these products interfering with one another for iron absorption. I did start taking spleen and liver in November 2017. It raised my ferritin slowly from 27 to 60. ( My doctor; an hematologist wants my ferritin to be 100)Today my blood work showed my Ferritin fell to 21 :(. I suspect any of the other supplements I take is interfering with iron absorption. May be zinc, cooper, Magnesium, vitamin E...Who knows? Lately I’ve been taking spleen with your bone marrow product. I wonder if the calcium in the bone marrow is interfering with iron absorption.Would you please advise me on how to combine/ alternate this wonderful products for raising my iron reserves?I would greatly appreciate it!

I think it’s going great with the spleen supplement. I’m going to wait a few months and recheck my ferritin, but I have DEFINITELY noticed more energy! Now I’m able to do all my secular work, chores/errands and still manage 2-3 workouts a day if I want. I realize now I was just barely getting through the day before so this has been great! The first two nights I had horrible insomnia so I lowered my dose and now I feel amazing and still sleep at night.

I originally started my journey back to health with Ancestral Supplements Beef Liver with such amazing results, I remember impatiently waiting for each of their new products to come available. The Beef Spleen offers incredible results, just as with the Beef Liver, and is amazing at helping me fight off any bug that I may feel coming on. I have battled with many health issues a result of re-activated EBV (Eppstein-Barr Virus) and taking this, with the Liver supplement, at the first sign of not feeling good gives my body the needed boost to feel batter fast. I bought these supplements for my son as a multivitamin but also to help with his iron levels as they were slightly low at his 12 month check up. We started with beef liver until you mentioned spleen had way more heme iron, so I did wind up caving and buying that one. He took 1 capsule of the spleen every day for about 2 weeks and 1 capsule of the liver every day for about a month. This is the only thing we changed other than incorporating more iron rich foods into his diet. I am pleased to say that at his recheck this morning, his hemoglobin is 11 (was 9.4 a month ago at his initial visit). The NP was asking what I used and was impressed! So thank you for the recommendation and for all your help!! We will definitely be repeat customers!
