Impressive Device
This absolutely transformed the WiFi signal in our home. From only having one bar of 5ghz signal upstairs to total perfect coverage. Totally brilliant device and faultless connection ever since installing.Installation is incredibly simple tooHighly recommended.

Brilliant Product.
I bit the bullet and bought this after having a dismal failure episode after buying one of the cheaper plug in so called extenders. Wow! is a word for it. I wanted a good wifi signal in my summer House for Grandkids and myself to use tech down there, about 30 plus meters from my Plus net Modem which delivers 900mb but hardly a spit anywhere else. Setting up was a breeze after sorting out its duel wifi, best on 5ghz by the way, you need to find that out and need to configure via wifi password for both 2.5 and 5. That will give you two options on your phone ect.I now get a really acceptable speed more than 60 meters from the modem.

OK Product
It works! Quite easy to install (I used network cable and laptop) and it stays connected pretty much all the time. Coverage not bad but it does not like thick walls. A bit pricey, I thought, for what you get but certainly lot cheaper than new router setup.

Better than Sky Wifi Max Pod & much cheaper! Don't let SKY rip you off anymore!
If you got sky wifi max pod and being ripped off for £10p/m, buy this... work perfectly and pays for itself in a few months. Don't let Sky rip you off with the pod monthly costs.. Easy to set up, took about five minutes.

Solid stuff for connectivity issues
Works brilliantly. Have a router at ground floor, this fella provides solid signal across 1st and 2nd floor. Easy to set up, took a few mins only. Would highly recommend.

Disappointing
Purchased this to upgrade the RE550 I currently have. The RE700X was setup in Access Point mode - just like the RE550.After updating the firmware to the latest version, (1.0.9 at the time) various settings had gone missing that were there on the original firmware (1.0.3) the most obvious being the 160mhz.After a factory reset, the missing settings returned. Bizarre. After using the RE700X for a day or so I noticed the odd disconnection and instant reconnection on some of the devices connected to it, along with higher battery drain on devices when they were idle. This was the main issue I had with the RE700X. For some reason when devices were idle, the battery drain seemed heavier than on the previous RE550. (Both using the 5Ghz, the same Channel, the same width), the settings were practically identical to that of the RE550.I unplugged the RE700X and added the RE550 back, left it a few days and device idle battery drain was back to was it usually was. I tested this several times overnight using the same mobile device with the different extenders. In a 7 hour period the RE700X was draining roughly 14%, whereas the RE550 was draining 6/7%.I also tested the same mobile device with the main router (AX86s, which is also WiFi6 etc) the device drain was similar to that of the RE550.I did contact TP-Link and they ran through a few steps but nothing seemed to work. In the end I gave up and returned the device.Maybe a duff unit, or maybe just not a great model. I guess newer isn't always better!Edit: TP-Link believe this could be an issue with the Firmware and TWT (Target wake time)

Great extension for WiFi
Cameras outside the home kept losing wifi but since I have used this product they have been fine. Happy with results.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Decent WiFi Booster – Mostly Works Well
The TP-Link Mesh WiFi Booster has improved the coverage in my home significantly, especially in areas where the signal used to be weak. Setup was pretty straightforward, and once it was up and running, I noticed a definite increase in speed and reliability. It’s great for streaming and working in rooms where I used to get spotty coverage. That said, it’s not perfect—there are occasional drops in the connection, and the signal doesn’t always extend as far as I had hoped. It’s still much better than before, but not quite flawless. Overall, it’s a good solution for improving WiFi coverage, just not a perfect one. 3.5 stars if I could, but I’ll settle for 4.
