Very Nice….but be careful not to over tighten
These straps worked very well for about a year. Main use, to hold my rain suit pack onto my top case. 2 trips - 1000 mile trip into Canada and back, most recent a 3000 mile trip out west to Yellowstone NP and back. Upon returning I noticed that the elastic portion broke away near where the stitching is. The outer core however remains intact. This happened on all 4 of my straps. I attribute this to likely over tensioning and also exposure to the elements, i.e sun, wind and rain.I have repaired them by reinforcing the areas with stitching and a liquid polyurethane application. I’m confident to put them back in service, however with less tensioning.

Will work
Straps that will work, motorcycle went down before I could try them out, but will have to give them a spin and shakedown this spring and summer.

Good for what they are
They are copies of Rok Straps. They seem ok so far. I'm using them in a 7000 mile motorcycle trip so I'll see how they hold up. They need to be longer though. Not sure of their quality yet.*****Edit*****Read the other reviews. They failed on a cross country motorcycle trip. Exactly like others said, the bungee portion snapped in the same place as everyone else's did and basically left you with a cam buckle strap. Spend the extra money and get real Rok Straps. I had to buy extra ratchet straps on the road to secure my luggage to the bike.

Long term heavy use and totally satisfied
I purchase this for my motor cycle use. Great visibility at night, nice comfort rubber tight, which functioned perfectly for my motor cycle Sessy bar bag. Nothing functional failure over 1.5 year use.

Used once
The elastic pulls away from the stitching after only moderate use and tension. The image was after only a couple of hours of use a stabilizer for a bag attached to a motorcycle, where the strap wasn't even used as the primary attachment/tension point. To its credit, it did not break. But I won't be using it again. I've used Rok Straps brand many times, with far greater tension, and not experienced this kind of failure.

Secure
I use these instead of bungies on the rear rack of my bicycle. Holds my gear much more securely.

Very solid Motorcycle Straps [Updated]
Update - Sept 2024:Well I hate to report that after using this strap for my daily commute, strapping a backpack to the bike, one of the staps has started to fail (see picture). It didn't actually break, but that seems imminent. I guess that could be expected after extended use but these straps were not abused, and only used occasionally for about 9 months. I have removed 1 star.I ride my motorcycle to work every day as a daily commuter and also take extended camping trips with gear strapped on. The importance of having straps that you can rely on is really big for me. I have used Rok straps for years and thought that they were the best, but I find these to be pretty comparable in terms of function. You can really cinch them down using the metal clasps, just make sure you feed the strap in the right direction. They are long enough to strap down most items that you might want to secure to a top rack unless you are strapping on large dry bags, etc. We'll see how they hold up over time, but so far so good.
