I recently purchased the Topdeep 28" Swivel Chair Base Replacement for my viral crisscross chair that I bought when they first came out. Initially, my chair did not have any wheels, but I loved the design and comfort it provided. My chair base broke about a month ago, and in that month I bought and returned 2 chairs from various places until I learned that I could simply buy a stronger base. This product gave me exactly what I wanted in allowing me to fix my old chair. It was easy to set up (took maybe 20 minutes total to change out the old hardware to the new) and worked immediately. I honestly could not be happier.

Perfect replacement my chair is like new.

I simply removed the old base (plate, piston and five-spoke caster) and replaced with this one. Unlike the old base, where replacing just the piston would be a real pain, this new base was very simple and easy. Remove the old base, screw on the plate to the bottom of the chair seat (I used allen wrench bits in my drill), literally drop the piston into the five-spoke base with casters (it just sits there with no screws, etc.), and literally drop the chair seat with new plate onto the piston. Perfect.

Works great! Replaced a metal one that was bent out of shape. Don’t think I will ever be doing that again given how well made this one is.

I'm glad I saved the bolds from the legs it was replacing, as tis did not come with any. also, the mounting plate was not a match for the one on my old chair: I could only get three of the for bolts in, the last one was way out of position.

The cylinder on my staples chair failed. Replacement didnt fit so this full new base worked great.

Our old pedestal was made of wood and a leg had split. Wasn’t sure if this was going to work but I guess the attachment plate on these things are universal. Our former stand was losing its ability to stay in the lift position as hydraulic piston had run its course. Pretty sturdy for the price. You won’t go wrong with this!
