A candle making kit with everything you need to make two candles, or one large one, I opted for a large oneThe first thing you need to do is make your pot out of the clay provided. This was lots of fun to do, something I haven't done since I was a kid! Then you will paint a coat of varnish over the pot when it's fully dry, this usually takes around 24-48hrs for the clay to dry, the varnish takes an hour or so.Once your pot is ready, you can set up your wicks, you have two sticks to hold them straight in the centre, so I used the two holders, so I could add two wicks. Now you melt one of your bags of candle wax, this does not smell the nicest when it's melting in the microwave but it didn't last long. Once it's melted, add in your essential oil, mix and pour into the pot, then let this wax set and it's done.I do love a good crafty project and this did not let me down. I had a lot of fun, the candle smells divine when it's going and it is burning evenly. The whole process is nice and easy. I would recommend it

The media could not be loaded. This is a 2 in 1 craft set, not only are you making a candle but also making a pot holder for candle of clay. This set comes with all the components needed and step by step instructions. If your a novice like myself it is definitely needed. You can paint your pot on completion but these are not included. This craft set makes a nice gift or for activity to do within the home with children or partner. I would say it is a tad bit expensive but end product worth it.

Comes boxed and expertly packed, it has everything you need as a beginner to make candles, however given the price of the kit this does not represent good value for money as you could purchase the contents separately for far cheaper

This is a great starter kit. I've always wanted to make candles but never known quite where to begin. You may pay a little more for this than buying all the components individually but it takes the unsurety and guesswork out of a new activity. I probably wouldn't buy it again for myself once I know the ropes but as a way into a new hobby it's exactly what you want. It has everything you need and easy to follow instructions. As a gift for someone crafty it's perfect.

I love that more adult craft sets are being released. This is a fun set, love that you can create whatever you want - as much as your imagination will allow.You get enough clay to make a generous sized candle holder, which you then have the items needed to make the candle for the holder.It’s a good gifting idea for an older teenager or adult, and may be suitable for younger teens if supervised. Something to do together with a parent.

This is a nicely packaged well presented beginners Candle making kit that comes with good instructions, clay, wax, essential oils, paintbrushes and sculpting tools but interestingly despite the paintbrushes it does not come with the paint to decorate the finished candle. The kit is nice quality and looks great as a gift, the way it is packaged but there is a hefty price tag of nearly £50.00 which considering what is included seems very expensive for the price.The quality is nice and it is a novelty gift with a difference and its fun to do when you have a wet rainy afternoon, it does take some time to complete due to the clay drying time and of course the additional cost of buying paints to decorate it with. Overall nice, but for me just a bit expensive.
