Exactly what I needed!! Perfect fit, easy replacement, totally worth it

Bought this for my 2013 Audi A7. The original strap finally wore through and broke. The price was very reasonable (especially compared to the price at the dealership!$$$) and I was able to replace the cap and strap with a pair of pliers in about 5 minutes. Looks great and works like a charm!!

Our car needed a new gas cap before it would pass the mandatory emissions test. This cap arrived quickly, was easy to install, fit exactly as needed. Our car easily passed the retake.

This cap is a drop in replacement for the OEM gas cap on my 2014 Audi A4. After the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) on my dashboard came on, I researched what causes it. A google search suggested a loose gas cap. I took the car to a local repair shop and they said the cap was holding pressure and that I needed to replace the pressure sensor, which was part of the fuel pump.So they replaced the fuel pump for $820 and then the lamp came back on 4 days later. Fortunately, the shop is a reputable one and they put the old pump back in and refunded the $820. I still had an engine light problem which needed to be fixed as the car was coming up on its state inspection in 2 months. Having the light on is an automatic fail in my state.On a whim, I replaced the gas cap with one of these. It took ten minutes to install. The light went out and has been off for over a month!

This was advertised as an Audi part, not an aftermarket version that are less expensive. This cap fits my 2010 AudiQ5 V6 model. Most importantly it has the attached strap that keeps me from forgetting to reattach it after fueling. Some other aftermarket caps that I’ve had were hard to open and didn’t have the strap so I went for the original Audi part and am very satisfied. It’s pricey but all original Audi parts cost more than aftermarket versions.

I bought this for a 2008 VW Passat, even though I was told it wouldn't fit it does. It did not, however, solve the P0442 code for PCV system leak. I tracked it down to the check valve mounted near the front of the engine, wich I bought locally. My gas cap light has not come back on since.

Was having issues with the Check Engine light coming on periodically. Replaced the 10 yr old cap with this new one and have had no issues with the Check Engine light since installing 6 weeks ago.

Check engine light came on and reseating the gas cap didn't work this time. Apparently bad seal on the original. Opted for an entirely new cap rather than just the gasket. It arrived quickly and well packaged, quality as expected, installed easily....and check engine went off immediately.
