I'm Impressed
I was surprised when I changed my Kitchen Aid espresso machine's stock basket with this one. This basket offers a lot less resistance than your stock basket so it requires for you to grind finer to maintain the same pressure. The sweetness that resulted from the first shot I dialed in with the new basket was something I had never tasted before. It was as if I had added syrup to my espresso. It really shows that a good quality basket is a good way to spend your money if you are trying to improve the taste of your shots.

Great baskets and seller
Great support from Verybarista. I was able to try this basket as well as the big bang basket. Both are top quality and unique In their own ways. I am still testing their strengths but so far the E&B seemed great for lighter roasts and the big bang basket for darker ones. So many variables but I've had great results from these. I have owned 20 and 18 VST an 18 ims baristapro and now the 15 E&B and Big bang by ims. Since I drink two shots a day I wanted to reduce my caffeine intake slightly and these baskets are the perfect for that. Single 8-12g baskets can be really fussy to dial in and clean out. These baskets are much much better 5 stars

Well made, but you need some solid skills to use it well.
This is a nicely made basket, with the nanoquartz coating, nicely made and well finished. However, as others have pointed out, you will get a lot more channeling at the same grind levels as before. My shots were extracting cleanly without spraying until I started using this basket, at which point there was a LOT of spraying. More WDT and careful puck prep tamed it somewhat, but due to the channeling, my shots just weren't as tasty and there was more of a mess. In retrospect I could have put more effort into dialing in the grind more precisely - but I have a nice conical precisely because I don't want to be OCD about the grind setting needed for a good espresso shot. Maybe puck screen or aeropress filter on top could have helped? The other issue is that the stainless alloy used in this basket is non-magnetic, so my funnel no longer stuck to the basket, requiring more careful attention to be paid.Ultimately, I think if you are willing to pay _even_more_attention_ to your espresso than it already takes, then this basket may yield better tasting shots. For me, I felt it added too many requirements for a decent morning espresso, and was more hassle than it was worth - so I returned it.

So much easier to clean
I figured the “nanotech coating” was a gimmick to sell another espresso accessory, but this has become one of my go-to baskets because it is by far the easiest to clean. It fits my Profitec bottomless portafilter perfectly, and it does seem to flow a little faster than my other baskets. I’ve noticed I have to grind a little bit finer when going from another basket to this one. 2 thumbs up for this basket, you guys nailed it.

Disappointing experience, save your money
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this basket with great excitement, hoping it would enhance my coffee-making experience. Unfortunately, it has only given me headaches. As someone who has been making specialty coffee for over two years, I’ve tried many different tools and accessories, but I’ve never encountered such a frustrating issue before.I enjoy experimenting with new barista gear, which is why I decided to give this basket a try. However, after testing over 30 different cups of coffees—varying the bean varieties, grind sizes, doses (in grams), and tamping pressure—I consistently end up with terrible results. No matter what I adjust, the extraction is always off, leading to underwhelming or even undrinkable espresso. At this point, I can’t recommend this basket to anyone. If you’re serious about your coffee, save your money and invest in a better-quality basket. This one simply doesn’t deliver.

Nice basket
Nice basket. Clean puck release. Improved flow. I got this 22g for my Gaggia Classic. I usually dose 21g and a puck screen, this basket handles that well. Flat and straight.

Great upgrade if you prep well
Upgraded from an IMS Competition basket. Didn’t change a thing, same roast/beans, same grind setting, same espresso machine and temp settings, dosage/ratio, etc...Noticed a bump in overall flavor and much less acidity. Also that it extracted about 2-3 seconds faster. Less residual grinds leftover after knocking the puck out, still some, but not very much.I have noticed that it is a bit less forgiving if you don’t thoroughly prep the puck. If it channels it will let you know, multiple spouts that take longer to unify etc…. So have to be a bit more meticulous about prep, but if you do it well, the taste difference is noticeable.
