HIMG Bathtub & Shower Pan Repair Kit, Compatible with V&B Alpin White

I had a small chip in my bathtub and after the repair it’s unnoticeable. Other products I was considering were epoxy that required mixing, had multi day cure times, and no color match. This required no mixing, the syringe allowed for accurate application, it cures in minutes, and the color match for American Standard was spot on.This product is for small repairs. The box says half an inch or smaller and I agree. I’d have to imagine the poor reviews used the product outside of its use case or didn’t follow the instructions. I found this incredibly easy to use and the repair far exceeded expectations.

We had a deeper scratch that was visible in our recently renovated bathroom. I was pretty disappointed. With a toddler, I figured it probably wouldn't be the last. We have a Kohler acrylic tub, and I conducted a pretty thorough search before settling on this. The kit contains everything you need (except AAA batteries, which I had on hand). It was extremely easy and clean. I think the color matches well, and I don't really notice, a scratch, but if I am cleaning the tub, I can feel where it is slightly raised (from my average repair work). I would definitely suggest giving this a try (and wear sunglasses and look away when using the UV light to cure!).

Seals cracks well but color darkens and crack remains visible. Other products available that achieve both.

Easy to use and directions are easy to follow.The only thing I found with this KOHLER color match it that if you have a black steel or iron under the chip the color is not 100% covering the black spot and is a rater a translucent white.If I had to do it again I would try some white Rust-Oleum paint touchup over the steel and then use this color match product.Also a scraper razor works much better on a porcelain tub rather then the sanding pad for flushing the patch.Comes with it nice quality blue curing light flashlight, that will need 2 AAA batteries.Overall I would by this again.

Do not waste your money and time with this product. It does not even fill in the gaps. It does not sand down. Sand paper squares are small and useless. Blue light is a joke. Cant believe I pad $36 for this. It does not match and my tub looks worse now than it did before using this product. Highly recommend steering clearing this product.

New Kohler tub was dinged by a tile that fell when installing tiled walls. This kit was pretty close to perfect for color match, you can still see the area that was damaged, but it's very faint. Very easy to use, no smell, and filled the damaged area very nicely and smoothly. Kit has enough for several fixes so good value for the price. Won't know about durability, but it appears that it will last for quite a while.

Works okay but way too small of tube for price.
