This is excellent chicory for Coffee. I recently started cutting down on my caffeine intake and this is an excellent way to go 50% coffee and 50% chicory. I will keep ordering!!!

I was a HEAVY coffee drinker, this make me cut off coffee 100% I drink coffee with milk and sometimes I add cinnamon, this taste “EXACTLY” the “SAME” with the same mix, it was strong flavor with the mix on the package but I cut the Chicory amount in half and “Bam”. My anxiety has go down drastically I recommend this to any one that wants or need to cut down caffeine but need the flavor fix!!!

This is my first experience with chicory. I recently learned that my chronic stomach pain was due to an acquired sensitivity to coffee, so began searching for substitutes. This one is very tasty, for what it is. The "four stars" isn't because the quality isn't there, but as a substitute, it's definitely more work to make, and the flavor's not as complex as coffee. But I still like it as an alternative, and will most likely buy it again.

Great flavor! Started chicory a year ago, instead of coffee. Flavor is good and no caffeine.

I have tried two other brands and like them but wanted an organic option. I have tried Anthony's other products and have been satisfied but this one I am very disappointed. It taste like a cup full of cork. It almost tastes like it has been sitting on the shelf way too long. Either way I will not be re-buying. It kind of stinks that I cannot return it but you live and you learn.

I compared to French roast and found this had much more chaff in the bag. Also, I find this product, out of India, not as smooth in flavor as that of France. This is possibly due to the time or method of roasting. It isn't bad, my husband can't tell a difference, but I can. So I will purchas the French.
