This is the third harness I've purchased for my Cairn Terrier and the only one I've kept. My 8-year-old dog had never worn a harness before, but he'd had dental surgery and teeth removed and I decided it was time to try again to find one that fit properly to avoid strain to his throat. The sizing instructions for this are perfect so measure your dog, particularly the head size and compare them to the chart. I purchased a Large and it fits comfortably and adjusts with room to spare. It's soft and definitely solved the tugging issue. My Cairn is about 21 pounds and because this pulls over the head I was able to get the proper size. The harness fits loosely but because it goes over the head and snaps around the chest it is very secure. I will definitely purchase another. I use this just for his walks so it should last for quite a while and is well made.

When I rescued my dog, he came home with a Puppia harness. He’s a little bigger than he used to be, so we had to size up from a medium to a large, but I wanted to stick with the same brand.The Velcro closures are wide enough to feel secure and sturdy, and consistently close well. The snap at the top also works cleanly, and the double D-ring is easy to fasten a leash to. The harness is made of a breathable mesh, which is super helpful in warm seasons / climates.Depending on the color, you might notice dirt more quickly. The harness is easy to wash with dish soap or laundry detergent and water, and it looks new after a wash. I’ve had my dog for 7 years, and I’m only on my third harness (one switch for size, two for wear and tear).

Nice harness and is soft and easy to put on…..unless you are old. Got this for my 91 year old mom’s little dog and although she loves it, she cannot work the buckle. Buckle needs a very good squeeze, which is no problem for me but for a 91 year old it’s close to impossible. Although that means it’s a good sturdy buckle, just not a good one for people with hand/finger weakness.

SMALL fits my 5 lb Chihuahua perfect.MEDIUM fits my 12 lb Pomeranian mix perfect.Soft, lightweight and does the job.

This is not Puppia's fault. I like their items and am usually always very pleased. But this time around I'm left feeling so frustrated. My dog has Cushing's which means he went from a thick muscled strong slender 21 lbs to now a pot bellied 34 lber. He has always been top strong like a pittie. In his healthy days people were afraid of him and would cross the street. But he is the most gentle and loving boy ever! He loves children, sick people and other animals. Then he got sick. He got really fat. Bless his heart. Finding a harness is next to impossible. If it fits his neck it doesn't fit around his belly. If it fits to accommodate his belly it's massively too large for his neck where he can literally step out of it. And this is where Puppia harnesses aren't working for his needs. I first got the XL which should've worked great according to their chart but it was too small in the belly area, perfect in the neck. Sent it back and got the XXL. WAY too large in all areas. But oddly was made far superior compared to the XL. I really wished it had fit because it's so well made. His current harness was perfect but the safety clip broke off - it was well used. But I couldn't find a replacement at Petco which is where I got it. Currently having to use a heavy duty safety pin but constantly worried it will open and stick him. Finding a harness shouldn't be this difficult. So so frustrated at this point.

The dog likes the harness, it is soft. Her girth is 23", so I ordered accordingly. But it runs large, so I could have gone down a size.

I bought this for our yellow lab that has some type of OCD. It is very nice and very nice quality, but I have one issue why I give it 4 stars. The issue if it really is an issue is the plastic connector. It's attached right to the fabric on the dog’s right side. The quick connector is a little large and when my lab is lying on that side it seems like it could be a tad uncomfortable for her. Just wonder if they could have had the belt part sewed to each side and the quick connector on top somehow. That’s not to take away from the harness, I really like it and would probably give it 4.75 stars with the connector if I could. As for the harness, in the pictures it looked a little big in front but it’s made of a very nice light mesh material and it is very soft. When you get it on the dog I think it’s just right. I bought the XXL size for her neck size, her neck is 21", and the fit perfect. It slipped right on over her head and seemed very comfortable, put one leg through and clicked the belt. I don't think there is a way for her to pull out of it either. It adjusts around her chest nicely. The one thing I notice when it's on, from the front above the "puppia" label to the back of the harness on the bottom of her belly it has a slight sag in the middle like it may be a tad too big, but who cares since I wanted to be sure it fit her neck. Sizing seems right on for the neck if you measure. As for using it, having a dog with OCD, she has to walk the same way, do the same things, and I can NEVER put anything on her, clothing, boots, a thunder jacket, anything, or she just stands there. I think she likes this! Normally you need give a little tug to get her to walk in some direction and if she didn’t want to go her collar would slip off. I walk her fine without a leash, but my mom is a little scared, plus she didn’t want to choke her. With this, I put it on quick and now she gently holds the leash tight and our lab actually keeps her head up and walks without OCD issues. It works well and I laughed when I took it off my lab. I asked her for a review on how she liked it…she actually came back and put her head into it like she wanted it back on, I put it on and then she went to sleep. Lying on her left side :-) Oh the life of a dog...got it made. I would recommend this harness.

My dog has about five of these harnesses in difference colours - they are great!

It barely fits over my 10 week old mini dachshund but will work for the time we need it for, was hoping he could grow into it a bit more but it works for now, the material is breathable and the body belt is adjustable, overall like it

We needed something that wouldn't irritate under our dog's front legs as all the other harnesses are rough straps that go under and leave him raw and irritated. He needs to be in his harness at all times as he's a runner and we need to be able to grab him easily so finding this one was great. It's soft under the arms and only has one strap around his middle. Here's hoping it will continue to do the trick as so far he's very comfortable with it on.

Fast delivery and good price point. Size M used for mini/medium goldendoodle 10 lbs at 4 months. Size is good, maybe a little big, but be sure to measure around head and neck before buying. The body part is adjustable but not neck part. Fabric is soft and product seems well made. My puppy seems to like it. Only flaw is you have to pull it over puppy’s when putting on/taking off which is sometimes difficult with a young puppy.
