F1 Race Stars (Xbox 360)

We purchased this after our daughter (6) played the demo. She thought it was funny and the price was right so we bought a copy.Honestly we have had hours of fun playing this. There is a championship mode where you need to win a series of different races to get a bronze, silver or gold cup and you can race in teams or against each other in mulitplayer mode. There is also a track mode where you only race the one track at a time.We loved it enough to purchase the DLC tracks too.Some of the tracks are challenging - all have hidden shortcuts, and my husband and I suspect there is an element of AI to the game in terms of how well the computer drivers race (the better you get, the harder it is to win).It isn't a serious racing game, just a bit of fun based on the concept of F1 but thoroughly enjoyable.

OK game, but the AI on the computer players can be frustratingly agressive. Better played with friends, but Sonic Allstars is better if you are looking for a Mario Kart style game on XBox.

My husband bought me this as part of my birthday present, Im a huge huge F1 fan and like playing the F1 game but always wanted something to do with F1 thats light hearted and fun. I like Mario Kart and think this game is great, fab game for all the family. Only downside is theres not a track for every F1 race but theres quite alot of different 'modes' to race as, along with most F1 drivers and even some female racers for anyone who would like to be a girl (my 7 year ols daughter loves these characters) All round great game for some fun.

This simply is a super charged version of mario kart, on Xbox!! Fun, easy to pick up and play. My 4 yrs old can play and get on the podium, yet when I play, I get cheated at the last corner!! Online play is a bit annoying when some players dont bother racing and just sit on the start line.Great fun all round with tons of replay value.Recommended

F1 Race Stars is a video game developed by Codemasters, released in November 2012.[1] It is a kart racing game loosely based on the 2012 Formula One season, with circuits redesigned to feature loops, jumps and short-cuts.[2] It is a spin-off from the traditional Formula One video games, and is the first kart-racing game developed by Codemasters. The player is able to choose cartoonish versions of Formula One racing drivers, such as Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Fernando Alonso.[6] It was announced on 13 July 2012 at the San Diego Comic-Con International.[3] Codemasters have described the game as being designed to emphasise entertainment rather than simulation.[7] On 6 December 2012 it was confirmed to be ported to Wii U under the title F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition, where it was released on 16 January 2014.

I do not know what I was really expecting with this game, the pre-launch video looked fun and promising, but its rather boring to be honest, Seems like a poor attempt to make a good game, Mines going on ebay in the morning, Sorry but its rubbish!

I don't normally post reviews but I really have to for this little gem. I bought this a party game that can be picked up and played by everybody. It looks excellent and more importantly its really fun! Well worth a purchase!

I buyed the game for my kids, age 5, do not appreciate more detail, for them is a good buy.But ... Too many bugs, only 11 circuits, there isn't artificial intelligence for the rest of the pilots .It's not funny. I thought it would be a game emulating the race but in a cartoon style, but circuits have little or nothing to do with reality.Waste of money.

Perfecto juego, muy entretenido y se puede jugar en Español. Recomendable al 100%. Disfruta de las estrellas de la F1 de forma caricaturizada.

F1 race stars, comparable à Mario Kart WII, beaucoup plus complet au niveau des fonctions et des paysages. Plus RIGOLO.
