Yes, they are both identical and they do not say the words salt or pepper anywhere on them. They are very nice and easy to use...

Top Grinder portion is 2-3/8", visible portion of glass bottom (excluding threaded neck) is 3", so total 5-3/8". I think the round bottle version is slightly shorter.

How big are these grinders? They look substantial from the pictures
