The lengthy extendable hose section is long enough that I'm not constantly bent over while vacuuming - much appreciated by an over 6 footer! - and the main unit is so very light with a good handle it makes for easy handling and an absolute doddle while doing the (formerly) dreaded stairs. This powerful and compact unit provides good suction and easy cleaning, proving to be a very good choice at a competitive price.

Light, easy to use, good suction.

I have owned quite a few vacuum cleaners over the years, some of which were good, and some terrible. This was to replace a Henry vacuum cleaner which finally gave up the ghost, and which I’d replaced the contacts in twice (a common flaw in the Henry, I believe) and which I wasn’t prepared to take apart again. This Bosch vacuum cleaner is fabulous, it is light, easy to manoeuvre, has excellent adjustable suction, and has a good cord rewind, a feature absent in the Henry (and the reason the Henry’s contacts wear out!). The motor also has a ten year guarantee which is an added bonus. I have no hesitation in saying that this is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used, with none of the annoyances I have encountered in similar cleaners in the past. It is great value for money, no noisier than any other vacuum, and has enough accessories to make cleaning easy. Recommended!

Sturdy little vacuum cleaner. Light weight and good suction. Perfect for a small flat. A good quality, reliable hoover for a low price.

I was really pleased with vacuum. Did a lot of research, and finally chose this one the first one I looked at. Arrived on time and couldn't wait to try it out. The suction was very good, turned it down to minimum for our lounge carpet which has a quite deep plie and it vacuumed well slightly hard to push but not a problem. It is very light and has a very long cord. To add the icing on the cake so to speak we got a promotional discount. Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend 👍😊

the worst vacuum we've ever bought. it's quiet but that's because there's hardly any suction. it takes me twice as long as I'm chasing round bits which it won't pick up on the first try !! retractable lead stopped working after 3 weeks.AVOID - waste of money

I bought the Bosch Series 2 BGBS2BA1GB ProEco 600W, vacuum cleaner to keep at my mum’s house. I wanted something compact and light with changeable bags. At first I wasn’t very impressed when I compared it to my vacuum cleaner. It seemed that you could only vacuum carpets in one direction to get a decent suction which didn’t work on stairs or in a small box room and under beds. When I changed the bag I replaced it with a new Bosch G ALL bag and it was so much better (make sure you get the genuine ones as there are so many poor copies out there). I have now grown to like the vacuum cleaner more and more, it’s very compact and light and does the job. You have to give the flex a gentle tug to retract the plug as it doesn’t have a button for that. I would say it’s good value for a compact cleaner. It’s not as well made as mine, but much lighter and half the price.
