Incredibly handy to have around
Incredibly handy if a headphone/microphone socket stops working. Very easy to set up. Recommended.

Works great with the PlayStation 5
Used in conjunction with a Playstation 5 (which doesn't have a headphone socket) and a pair of Sennheisser HDR-170 wireless headphones (that's wireless, not bluetooth). I prefer these for certain games (particularly Rocksmith) as there's a less latency than with the Sony Pulse bluetooth headset. In spite of its low cost and unassuming size, it just works. Plug the Sennheisser base station into the green socket of the adaptor and plug it into the front USB of the PS5 and the console pick it up and automatically switch to the headphones. Fiddling with audio settings in the PS5 menus can refine things further, but even leaving everything on default works well enough. If you're looking for a mini-jack adaptor for the PS5, this is it.

don't be put off by those who say the audio will be poor - it's not. It's very good! I really like it!
Upon learning to DJ i found out i needed a soundcard so i can hear the music in my headphones and the current track playing on my laptop. I went on a DJ forum and asked them what would be best and when i told them about this one, i remember a few laughing and saying it won't last long and the quality of the audio will be poor. But i thought you know what, the reviews on here are that it does the job and it's affordable where a guy on the dj forum recommended me to get a audio interface worth £80 on here but i thought thats way to much when all i wanna do is set up in my bedroom, have a play at mixing and if i like it then buy a controller to dj on with my laptop. They didnt understand this and why i brought something cheap. But to anyone who wants to DJ from their laptop at home and doesnt yet have a kontroller then forget the people who say it won't be any good. This is quality and it would be a 5 star only reason it isn't the natural progression is a controller so i wont need it soon. But yes get it. The audio is really good!

Simple and Effective. Worked straight away.
Overview:I bought this to work with the Neewer NW-700. I bought that a few days ago and had it plugged into a 2009 iMac. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t pick up decent sound volume from the microphone when it was plugged into the headphone jack or into the line in jack.• The description details how its driverless requiring no extra software.• It was also listed as often bought with the NW-700.• Finally it lists as working with Mac so I thought I would take a punt and try it.Disclaimer:I don’t know what I’m doing, I really don’t! Hopefully if you don’t know what you’re doing either, then this review helps!Packaging:As in the pictures, a very simple package with some instructions, a thick foam mount to hold the adapter in and thats about it.First Impressions:There really isn't much to it. It seems well made, with no obvious marks, scratches or weaknesses. Overall it looks nicely designed and well thought out with the different colours providing clear indication of what each port is.Use:The instructions cover it but it really is simple, plug in and then attach either microphone, headphones or both into their respective ports. It was picked up by the Mac instantly and since plugging it in, I have a decent sound input and the NW-700 works brilliant. The last photo shows it appearing as a USB audio device. I still sound like an idiot though unforetunately!Longevity: Its a USB plug, and its going to be left in for a while. It shouldn't fail and I'd be quite annoyed if it did. However, if it does fail in a short period then it also has the option to register for a 2 year warranty. I've done this just to make sure. If it does fail, as always I will update this review.Cheers,

This device works perfectly fine but there's a fundamental design flaw that may or may not be an issue for you depending on your set up. I used this adapter with headphones and a mic plugged in to my laptop. Imagine the adapter is plugged in to my laptop USB port which is about 2cm raised. There wires put pressure on the adapter and it hangs down a bit. Now, the USB insert is loose in the adapter and it's not working. I've only been using it for about 4 or 5 months. The solution to this is an adapter with a wire which alleviates any pressure from the adapter, as opposed to one piece fixed in the USB that takes all the pressure from headphone wites and microphone wires. I'm not going to write a competitors name in this review as I think this product is perfectly fine for the price.Better off designing this like: USB plug > wire > the 3.5mm jacks. The wire in-between the 3.5mm jacks and the actually USB insertion piece removes pressure from USB insertion piece/USB port.I hope this makes sense to people reading it. To be fair on Sabrent, the product is fine and works but it can be improved. And maybe if you are a customer using it on a table with all the wires on the table with no drag or pressure from the wires on your USB port, then fine.
