No UK plug! Should have read the reviews!
it's illegal for a retailer to sell an electrical appliance in the UK without a correctly fitted plug. Plugs must be approved: Plugs must be of an approved type, marked as such, and have sheathed live and neutral pins.Plugs must have the correct fuse: Plugs must be fitted with an appropriately rated fuse for the equipment.Sellers of electrical goods are responsible for ensuring that the goods meet legal safety requirements. They may be liable to pay compensation if they sell unsafe goods.

but mainly as I had seen the terrific results from one belonging to a friend
I went for the Aeroccino after some extensive searching of alternative makes, but mainly as I had seen the terrific results from one belonging to a friend. Some of the reviews can be off-putting, but I am so glad I bought it. The design is very neat and modern and fits in well in the kitchen décor and takes up hardly any room. Aesthetics aside, the frother will do more than enough frothy milk for two frothy coffees. The selector will give hot or cold froth as required. You get double the quantity of cold froth, but we prefer the hot setting. The quality of froth is good, with semi skimmed milk giving a dense rich consistency. It will work well with skimmed too. I find cleaning is a doddle. Just don't let any milk residue sit , Remove straight after pouring by using a clean soapy cloth and a quick rinse.(Just don't get the electrical contacts wet on the base and you will be fine). The amazon price is still higher than can be achieved on line elsewhere, but I had a gift voucher to use, so went for it.The dealer was very quick and the item was well packaged. full marks there. The delivery driver (Hermes) however practically threw it at me as he was in such a rush.

Wrong plug
Disappointed that the plug was continental and not 3 pin for uk.

Item arrived faulty - stayed “ON” for less than 10 seconds
I bought this to replace my mother’s “old faithful” frother and was very relieved it came with a UK 3-pin plug. Sadly it was faulty on arrival and never stayed “ON” for 10 seconds before cutting out so useless .Apart from faulty item, one-day delivery was faultless as usual. Had an issue returning the item because the signal was down for over a week in mum’s village so they couldn’t scan the QR code at the post office. Hoping they can today (fingers crossed).

Nespresso ! I feel is the better one ?
Ive had others ive purchase just because i didnt want to pay the price for a nespresso milk warmer. But non compared. As in longer time to take to warm the milk. Ive always had nespresso but i needed one for my camper van n didnt want to spend the cost of a nespresso milk warmer . But after 2-3 different cheaper ones i gave in and did what i should of done in the first place , get whats best. But in saying that i did still look for the cheapest i could find at the time of purchase . lol. In the past my milker has always come with my coffee maker so never purchased as a seperate item.

Love this but quality is lower than in prvious models
I've had one of these from Nespresso for many years, hence buying it again after the last one started to blow my fuse after about 2 years.I really love the heating& foaming function to pieces, not having to either use my bean to cup foamer that always has disgusting milk residue in it's pipes, no matter how well I clean it, let alone handle hot steam early morning before my first coffee, which would absolutely be a recipe for disaster. Now while it most certainly does the job marvellously, I do feel the change compared to previous models. It stand much more wobbly on the base, meaning I have to hold it firmly when pressing the button, to not throw it off base, where before I did just push the button and it was rock solid. The whole container feels lighter and cheaper made, even though the function is mostly the same. One more pet peeve here: The previous model came with a...how can I describe it...full on foaming bit and another one, that producd a little less foam. I really loved that less-foam bit, as it gave my coffee more of a flat-white feel than the full on have-to-get-through-all-the-darn-foam-to-get-to-my-much-needed-coffee, which makes me really grumpy in the morning, when caffeine is all that keeps me from being a grumpy monster.Now...no worries, I just kept the old piece and am not completely a monster in the morning, but buying a new foamer, I was hoping for a brand new bit as well.I know I know, I could just I guess miscowave my milk, but this half-foam-bit with this devide just hits the perfect mix of slightly foamy and just-right temperature, so I guess I'll live with it.One advantage over the last 2 I had: The non-stick coating seems to be improved a lot. It's much easier to clean and no weird film will form, much to my delight. But can we please combine this with the quality of the older versions?
