Great product - Highly recommended.
Have used previously to hang tv's and heavy items to walls where they are plasterboard dabbed onto brick or breeze blocks. This usually leaves a gap which is not great when needing to hang heavy items. Normal plasterboard fixings are a waste of time and will just pull away and not be sturdy enough. These work by drilling a hole through the plasterboard and into the substrate. You then knock the long wall plug in until it is flush with the plasterboard. Now for the clever bit. A small metal tube is then inserted into the wall plug which effectively bridges the gap between the back of the plasterboard and the substrate. This means that you get a really solid fixing when you screw into it, but also it stops the plasterboard from being deformed and pulled in towards the substrate. Note that they come with special threaded bolts, not standard screws. You need a hex bit to tighten them and I would recommend using a variable drill to get the torque needed to screw them in properly. You may struggle if just using a standard screwdriver with the bit fitted. One final useful point - when inserting the small round metal tube you do this after you insert the wall plug. Don't try to fit the wall plug with the tube already in it.... It won't work! And to help you put it in, use a bit of wd40 or similar to help it glide in easily. Hope all this helps.

Excellent
Used to hold up some heavy shelving in breeze block garage, they feel rock solid. Normal rawlplug failed to hold it. Very impressed and will order again.

Amazing fixings - but buy different bolts
These are excellent fixings for fixing very heavy loads to 'dot and dab' plasterboard walls. When you put in these fixings, it's immediately clear they'll carry a very heavy weight.I used them to put a 22kg 65" TV on the wall using a Von Haus bracket VonHaus 37-70" Double Arm Tilt & Swivel TV Wall Mount Bracket with Cable Management System for LED, LCD, 3D, Curved, Plasma, Flat Screen Televisions - Super Strong 45kg Weight Capacity .They come in 3 pieces: a big plastic plug for the wall, a steel sleeve that you screw into the plug and then the bolts you use to fix your item to the wall plug / sleeve. You need a good quality 12mm drill bit for the plug, you then screw the steel sleeve into the plug using an Allen key - these are very stiff so as others have said, using an Allen key drill bit in an electric drill is your best bet. DeWalt 32 Piece XR Professional Magnetic Screwdriver Bit Accessory Set However, there is a problem. The bolts that are supplied are absolutely terrible - very soft Phillips heads which quickly get stripped when applying pressure to the screw (and yes, I was careful to use the right size screwdriver). Really, for jobs where the bolts need a lot of force you need one with a hex head so I abandoned the bolts supplied and replaced them with 25mm M6 bolts with hex heads which are widely available from builders' merchants - these worked brilliantly.I used my superb Bahco mini socket set Bahco SL25 Socket Set 25 Piece 1/4 Inch Drive to tighten the bolts (this was also useful for tightening the nuts used to adjust the tilt angle of the bracket - there is a mini spanner included with the mount but it's not great).

Great for breeze block walls
Had to hang a tv on a breeze block wall and didn't trust normal fixings so used these and you could literally hang off the tv now its that secure! Will definitely buy again, well worth the money spent.

The only fixings you can trust in cellcon blocks
I have a 50 inch flatscreen, which weighs a scary amount to hang on any wall. I have a swivel, tilt and extend mount, which says in its instructions that it must only be attached to solid masonry (concrete) or a stud wall. And the wall I want to hang all this from is a standard cavity wall with cellcon blocks on the inside, then skim plaster over plasterboard.I used four of these Rigifix fixings, two at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom. They give a very reassuring look of being well engineered, and they all went in cleanly and very easily, and seem to give good hold. Before hanging the TV on the bracket, I did a pull-up on the bracket myself. These fixings are absurdly strong, and I am pretty confident they will hold the weight of the TV, even at the limit of the extension. You do need to make sure the holes you drill are clean and accurate. Probably worth buying a new 12mm masonry bit, and make sure you drill them in exactly the right place. You will not need to hammer drill if the wall is cellcon blocks. I used a 6mm hex bit for my drill to drive the fixing into the wall. You could probably use an Allen key, but it would be hard work, and harder to ensure that the fixing goes in straight. The fixings do not come with instructions. You drill a 12mm hole deep enough to take the whole of the plastic plug. Then slide the plug into the hole -- tap it all the way with a hammer if you need to, it should be a tight fit. There is a thin flange that remains on the surface. Then drive the outer bolt all the way into the plug -- it ends up a couple of mm below the surface. Finally, attach your bracket or whatever, using the inner bolt (philips cross-head). Good idea to use a washer unless the hole exactly matches.
